It is shown that species of monotypic genera Neopaiwa, Paiwa, and Weddelia are junior synonyms of Samythopsis grubei . Mexamage and Paramage are junior synonyms of Amage. Thus, the tribe includes genera Amage , Grubianella , and Samythop-sis. Amage levensteinae sp.n. , Amage clemi sp.n. , and Amage ceshici sp.n. from the abyssal depths are described. The aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of Underwater Video Stations (UVS) to detect caddisfly larvae (Trichoptera), estimate density in a lake, as well as to evaluate its effectiveness in tracking larvae. For this, were deployed UVS. Recording a total of 3120 minutes of video were analysed, of which 968 min were used for abundance analysis. Finally, caddisfly larvae were tracked using the Tracker software, which recorded the velocity of everyone in mm/s. This work successfully put into practice a novel sampling methodology for this insect group. The technique was implemented quickly, easily, and inexpensively and is highly scalable for the monitoring of aquatic invertebrates. They are distributed across five families of eugregarines, but the majority of their species belong to family Stenophoridae, where their phylogenetic relationships are not well understood. Here we obtain 20 new gregarine sequences from millipede hosts and employ environmental sequence data to examine the phylogeny within the family. Phylogenetic analyses with SSU rDNA and combined SSU, 5.8S and LSU rDNA datasets recover all novel sequences as a monophyletic group consisting of six clades, five of which have not been recognized before. The stenophorids are sister to Gregarinoidea in the phylogenies, hence we redefine the group as Stenophoroidea Clopton, 2009. In total, 1083 specimens of 17 species of teleosts and salmon shark Lamna ditropis were dissected, in which 32 species of parasites were found. The plerocercoids Pelichnibothrium speciosum s. lato prevailed in the Bering Sea. In the Sea of Okhotsk, the maximum intensity and prevalence of infection were noted for P. specioum s. lato , Anisakis sp. and Echinorhynchus gadi s. lato . The difference in the number of studied fish species in the Bering and Okhotsk Seas (14 vs 9) significantly affected the species diversity of noted parasites (28 vs 18). Teleosts caught in the coastal area and the ones performing vertical migrations to some degree differed in terms of infection pattern, primarily due to digeneans component. Macroparasites of the crested sculpin Blepsias bilobus were studied for the first time, and 20 new records were made on the infection of previously studied fish species.
