The SPFs are computationally intensive and they exhibit spatial or temporal parallelism or both. While the high performance DSP processors are unable to meet the speed requirements of these SDRs , System on chips ( SOCs) are also not suitable because of their limited flexibility.Recently, state-of-the-art FPGAs have emerged as high performance programmable hardware to execute highly parallel, computationally intensive signal processing functions because of the availability of in-built multiply and accumulate (MAC) units within these chips. Hence, FPGAs are becoming possible hardware platforms for implementing SDRs . Apart from that these FPGAs also include partial reconfiguration features that make them suitable for implementing SDRs efficiently as the configuration latency in run time trends to go down. This paper investigates the potential use of FPGAs for implementing efficient “Radio Processor”. The proposed Processor is based on a parallel re-configurable which was implemented on FPGA and exploits the spatial and temporal parallelism of the signal processing functions using a new concept “Reconfigurable Single Function Multiple Data( RSFMD)” architecture . Two aspects need to be balanced out in order to optimize the economical success which is the number of unsold copies should be minimal to reduce the cost of production, and the sell-out rate should be minimal to maximize the number of sold copies. Thus, a good sales rate prediction is necessary to optimize both antagonistic aspects. This paper utilized Artificial Neural Network to predict newspaper sales for one vendor in the area of Sungai Petani, Malaysia. The predicted sales value can help the company to optimize their sales. The main objective is to develop a prototype that apply artificial neural network so that it can predict the future trend as well as the future daily sale. The network will consist of three layer which is input layer, one hidden layer and output layer. The input layer will have six input node where this will be the factor that will affect the output which is the number of copies that sold. The network will be trained with history data of a one year records of data. For educational purposes, ICT can be used to support teaching and learning as well as research activities including collaborative learning and inquiry. One of the main applications of ICT in higher education is curriculum development based on these new technologies.This research is concentrated on the obstacles, facilitators, and the risks of using these technologies in curriculum development in higher education. The main purpose of this research is to answer to the question that in which fields and to what extent there are obstacles, facilitators and the risks in using ICT in curriculum development at university level? This research has been done at the National University of Iran, the second largest university in the country; the research population consists of university academics and students. A questionnaire has been administrated for gathering the data. In this paper, we introduce the PIM model for texture segmentation. We first extract texture features based on Laws and Gabor filters respectively. Then we present a Fuzzy K-Means method to generate the index map and palette, and use the PIM model to improve the segmentation accuracy.
