The main contributions are as follows: 1) The principle of CIC-CPPFC circuit has been introduced and a few of significant formulas have been derived to compute the input current, input power and so on; 2) Based on these formulas, the parameters of the CIC-CPPFC can be simply calculated. With more DG units being integrated into the power system, a more recent concept, called microgrid, is developed by grouping a cluster of loads and parallel DG units in a local area. This paper addresses the issue of real and reactive power control for DG units in a low voltage (LV) microgrid during the autonomous islanding operation. The traditional method for power control in parallel DG systems is the frequency and voltage magnitude droop method, which is based on the assumption of a mainly inductive line impedance, and is subject to power control couplings when implemented in a LV microgrid, where the line resistance to reactance ratio (R/X) is high. It is also revealed in this paper that the traditional droop control can lead to stability concerns in a LV microgrid. To achieve accurate and decoupled real and reactive power control and at the same time, to improve the system stability, a virtual frequency-voltage frame control is proposed, where the original voltage and frequency frame is transformed to a virtual frame to realize a completely decoupled relationship between real and reactive power. Details of frame transformation control and small signal stability analysis are presented. In the process of connected DG with the power grid, harmonic/inter-harmonic is very serious problem. A new method based on modified MM filter and HHT is proposed to detect harmonic/inter-harmonic caused by the power electric elements. Researched intensively the characteristics of MM transform and MM filter, MM filter is modified aimed at the drawback of selection of structure elements and statistic deflection. HHT is perfectly self-adaptive analysis method. To the signal with harmonic/inter-harmonic, white pulse and positive & negative impulse, firstly, using modified MM filter to remove the white noise, positive & negative impulse and high times harmonic because of its low-passing characteristic, that method's key element is to choosing appropriate SE and its filter effect is better than the wavelet transform. Based on this, using EMD to get a set of IMFs for the denoised signal, the IMFs are almost the single frequency signal. Nowadays, 80% of the locomotives driven by electricity run on the most main railroads. Most of the electric locomotives designed by AC-DC traction system till 2003 while DJ1 locomotives manufactured by AC-DC-AC traction system. Power Electronics is one of the pivotal parts of the whole locomotive equipment, playing important roles in power outputting, traction torque releasing, brake dynamic inflicting etc. This paper probes into 3 ages of the power electronics technology used in the electrical locomotives in China. The line-commutated control (thyristor and diodes) and the line-commutated control (thyristor and diodes) in traction and auxiliary system delegates the different age. Problems in system design concerning match of invert and asynchronous traction motor are discussed. Main circuit diagram, power electronics and general technical parameters are presented. The sending end of the hybrid HVDC topology is a Line-Commutated Converter (LCC) with a STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator) while the receiving end is a Current Source Inverter (CSI) using forced-commutated devices. The STATCOM provides stator voltage support for DFIGs, as well as commutation voltage for the LCC. Taking into account the nonlinear and coupling characteristics of each subsystem, a series of control schemes are provided. Simulations under both normal and fault conditions are carried out, which verify that, incorporating the advantages of existing LCC-HVDC and VSC (Voltage Source Converter)-HVDC technologies, the proposed system has the black-start capability, and can provide flexible reactive power support to the grid. This high-frequency inverter is composed of a passive PFC converter operating at one diode conducting bridge circuit and asymmetrical ZVS-PWM high frequency resonant inverter without the bulky electrolytic capacitor stage for boosted DC voltage smoothing. In addition, this proposed high-frequency resonant inverter has only one diode conducting mode in the diode bridge rectifier with boost inductor. The operating principle of the proposed series load resonant high frequency inverter is described by using the switching mode equivalent circuits in addition to the simulated operating voltage and current waveforms. The circuit parameters of proposed high frequency inverter design to achieve one diode conduction at the same time at diode bridge part by simulation analysis in this paper. The operating performances of this proposed ZVS-PWM high-frequency inverter are also illustrated on the basis of simulation analysis which includes its UFAC-to-HFAC power regulation characteristics, soft switching operating range, UFAC side power factor characteristics and UFAC side line current harmonics characteristics by FFT analysis. The principle of producing magnetic suspension forces for the AC-DC-3DOF-AMB is introduced. The flux path of the AC-DC-3DOF-AMB is calculated by using equivalent magnetic circuit method, the mathematics models of magnetic suspension forces are deduced, and the experimental prototype of this novel bearing is designed. The flux path and magnetic suspension forces of the rotor are verified by finite element analysis software ANSOFT. The nonlinearity of magnetic suspension forces and the coupling characteristics of movement and electromagnetic couplings around the balanceable position are calculated and analyzed by MATLAB software. The theoretical research and simulation results have shown that the mechanical structure and flux path of this AC-DC-3DOF-AMB are reasonable, and the maximum suspension magnetic forces satisfies design requirement. The magnetic suspension forces have better linearity and symmetry around the balanceable position. Implementation method of the compensation scheme with digital control is introduced, and a design example is given. The stability of the system using the compensation scheme is verified by frequency-domain analysis. Previous papers enhanced stability margin so as to increase loop gain by adding phase lead correction to the system, however, the improvement of compensation effect is limited. It overcomes the demerit of high voltage stress on the main switch in conventional flyback converter; meanwhile the duty circle can extend to more than 50% by slope compensation. Thus it is favorable for high efficiency, wide input range capacity and suited for the high input voltage occasions. In addition, the converter makes full use of leakage inductor energy, no extra snubber is needed.
