Prvi specifični cilj bio je tvrditi na koji su način uvjerenja (nepovjerenje, spremnost i nelagoda u traženju socijalno-stručne pomoći) roditelja djece s teškoćama u razvoju o budućem traženju socijalno-stručne pomoći povezana s procijenjenom prethodnom učestalosti dobivene socijalno-stručne podrške i zadovoljstvom prethodno dobivene socijalno-stručne podrške. Drugi specifični cilj je analizirati navedene varijable u odnosu na neka sociodemografska obilježja roditelja i djece (mjesto stanovanja i dob djeteta). Ispitivana su uvjerenja o traženju stručne pomoći te procjena učestalosti i zadovoljstva dobivenom stručnom podrškom kod 102 roditelja djece s teškoćama u razvoju dobi do 15 godina korisnika osam udruga i/ili institucija u kojima su uključeni u odgojno-obrazovni i socijalizacijsko-rehabilitacijski tretman. U trenutku ispitivanja živjeli su u seoskim i urbanim sredinama na području gradova i okolice gradova Rijeke i Vinkovaca. Ukupno su sudjelovale 73 (71.6 %) majke (Mdob = 40.14) i 29 (28.4 %) očeva (Mdob = 41.52).\u0000Procijenjena učestalost dobivene socijalno-stručne pomoći i procijenjeno zadovoljstvo dobivenom socijalno-stručnom pomoći su negativno povezani s većim nepovjerenjem prema traženju socijalno-stručne pomoći. Što su djeca starija, to se kod roditelja uočava manje spremnosti za traženje socijalno-stručne pomoći i više nepovjerenja u traženju stručne pomoći. Usporedbom roditelja u Vinkovcima i Rijeci, kao i usporedbom roditelja koji žive u gradu i roditelja koji žive na selu, utvrđeno je da roditelji koji žive u Vinkovcima, kao i roditelji koji žive na selu, iskazuju značajno veću nelagodu u traženju socijalno-stručne pomoći. Autorice se nadaju da rezultati mogu pomoći u budućim istraživanjima teme, kao i u unapređivanju sustavnog pružanja stručne pomoći i podrške obiteljima djece s teškoćama u razvoju. Smatraju da je rad važan u unaprjeđivanju kvalitete socijalno-stručne podrške i pomoći obiteljima djece s teškoćama u razvoju jer ukazuje na teorijski interpretirano nisku roditeljsku procjenu učestalosti i kvalitete dobivene stručne pomoći.","PeriodicalId":37490,"journal":{"name":"Jahr","volume":"131 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82213858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prenatal development, following scientific investigations, raises a number of philosophical and moral questions about the legitimacy of the interruption of the cycle of life in the initial stage, aspects that we examine in this article. People’s attitudes and actions towards product of conception and prenatal development (i.e. towards the unborn children or the unborn people) can be influenced by the correct answers and questions of scientists. We propose a new framework for questioning this issue.","PeriodicalId":37490,"journal":{"name":"Jahr","volume":"704 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78713388","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

I identified three areas of digital medicine and analyzed issues of confidentiality, informed consent, autonomy and equity in each case. The impact of digital health technologies on the ethical contexts of medicine is uneven: telemedicine possesses the smallest revolutionary potential, which changes the mechanisms of doctor-patient interaction and actualizes issues of cultural differences. mHealth technologies significantly affect patient autonomy and change ways of sharing medical information. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is diverse in medicine, it can depersonalize relationships in medicine, radically change ideas about the role of the doctor and patient, lead to a radical restructuring of the medical care system in the center of which will be the new model of patient interaction with automated medical agents and systems.","PeriodicalId":37490,"journal":{"name":"Jahr","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79933914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Chrysanthou, Emma Nottingham","doi":"10.21860/J.9.2.6","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21860/J.9.2.6","url":null,"abstract":"In recent years, alongside the general advancement of bioethics in a range of professions, bioethics conferences, both at a national and international level, have developed and become increasingly popular. One challenge for those learning bioethics is often to engage with disciplines outside their own, for instance by exploring new methodological approaches or theoretical frameworks. The interdisciplinary nature of bioethics motivates the development of different forms of interdisciplinary learning. In this paper, the authors discuss the role of bioethics conferences that, it is argued, serve as an important tool for interdisciplinary learning and interaction in bioethics. Special reference is given to the Postgraduate Bioethics Conference, which the authors convened in 2014 and have since overseen, to demonstrate how such a conference can assist learning in bioethics.","PeriodicalId":37490,"journal":{"name":"Jahr","volume":"9 1","pages":"234-246"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44303304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
