The expediency of using ultrasonic testing to identify various types of defects is substantiated. It is shown that, unlike other methods, its application does not lead to the destructive consequences of a material or compounds of metallic materials. It is noted that the principle of operation of ultrasonic devices is based on the analysis of the shape and amplitude of the emitted and reflected waves from the boundary of two media. Based on the established differences in forms and amplitudes, it is possible to identify the presence of defects and determine its type. Decryption of defects is carried out by the person who decides on the danger of the defect. To make a reliable decision, he needs information about the value of the speed of propagation of ultrasound in a specific material. The speed of ultrasound in different materials differs significantly in value. It is also necessary to perform an analysis of the forms of ultrasonic waves. Neural networks make it possible to find solutions to complex problems that require analytical calculations similar to those performed by the human brain. It was found that the use of a neural network for signal processing and calibration of ultrasonic sensors reduces the calibration time. The results of the developed neural network are presented.","PeriodicalId":374410,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133544723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sliding window decoding is believed the preferred decoding method for SC-LDPC codes, due to its lower decoding latency and complexity compared to conventional full belief propagation (BP) decoding, and is studied in this paper for SC-LDPC codes under broadcasting scenario. More specially, the optimal window size for sliding window decoding is investigated in this paper to improve the decoding performance under practical constraints of decoding complexity and latency in broadcasting systems. The early termination strategies are also considered to further reduce the decoding complexity. Finally, simulation results are presented, which demonstrate that the proposed sliding window decoding method has decoding complexity comparable to conventional LDPC decoding and shows consistent excellent decoding performance.","PeriodicalId":374410,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134639942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed PAF circuits of second order are implemented on the operational amplifiers and have an increased stability of the Q-factor. The basic equations and the results of computer simulation are presented, showing that the developed circuits implement band-pass filters (BPF), low-pass filters (LPF) and high-pass filters (HPF). New modifications of the PAFs allow resetting of the pole frequency using resistor arrays R-2R or digital potentiometer microcircuits. This method is highly accurate and easy to implement on a modern microcircuits. The main disadvantage of this measurement method is the significant influence of the signal frequency deviation on the measurement error. Existing methods to reduce the effect of frequency deviation assume its additional measurement, which complicates the overall implementation. This paper proposes an approach based on compensation of the measurement error by determining several RMS measurements for different initial phase of the input signal. The proposed method shows high efficiency for stationary signals or signals with a slow parameters change (in comparison with the measurement time), which is specify by modern power grid signals. In this paper, analytical expressions are obtained that allows to estimate the RMS measurement error when applying the proposed approach. Digital methods of providing a phase shift are considered. The analysis of the influence of the phase shift deviation on the RMS measurement error is carried out. By application of the Simulink software package, a simulation model of the RMS measurement transducer, which implements the proposed measurement method, has been proposed. The reliability of the obtained analytical expressions is confirmed by the coincidence of the simulation modeling results and analytical expressions results at check points.","PeriodicalId":374410,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"174 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115471995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The software part of the method is an algorithm for matching the quantitative values of displacements in the blood vessel wall under the study with quantitative value of the deforming effect of the pulse wave in the same part. The suggested method could be used for evaluation of the probability of a blood vessel aneurism rupture and to select the most appropriate treatment option.","PeriodicalId":374410,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Photonics (EExPolytech)","volume":"169 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122781362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
