The aim of the study was to assess the geometrid moths (Lepidoptera, Geometridae) fauna from this reserve. The most part of entomological materials from Cobîleni Natural Forest Reserve discussed in this paper were collected at the light trap during vegetation period of 2018. In the paper the list of fifty-five geometrids species is given, also their geographical distribution, ecological and trophic structure. The geometridae species collected from this reserve belong to five subfamilies. Most of the captured specimens belong to the Ennominae subfamily with 36 species, as it is typical for mesophilous meadows, followed by Sterrhinae with nine species, then Larentiinae with eight, and finally Orthostixinae and Geometrinae with only one species each. In the result of establishing of taxonomic affiliation of the entomological material collected during 2018, a new geometrid species for the fauna of the Republic of Moldova was identified: Cyclophora linearia.","PeriodicalId":37407,"journal":{"name":"Travaux du Museum National d''Histoire Naturelle Grigore Antipa","volume":"10 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73713634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consistent criteria were followed in defining alien species records, establishment and invasive status. From the 48 alien fish species, 1 fish hybrid, 1 amphibian and 18 reptile species recorded, only 16 fishes and 3 reptiles can be regarded as established. Of these we consider the criteria for invasive status as being probably fulfilled by one fish species (Perccottus glenii), and less likely by six more fish species. The presence and the alien status of the one amphibian are debatable. No reptile species can be considered invasive at present.","PeriodicalId":37407,"journal":{"name":"Travaux du Museum National d''Histoire Naturelle Grigore Antipa","volume":"83 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74963925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since its discovery, no further data were published on this endemic species of restricted range from the Carpathian region. On August 18, 2020 a single male specimen was collected at Poiana Mărului, in Olteana valley, south-west Romania, at 720 m altitude by the present authors, which is farther north from its typical location. This new finding suggests a larger distribution of the species in the Southern Carpathians. Based on our recent faunistic survey, a new species, Thaumalea remota was added to the Thaumaleidae fauna of Romania, with a revised checklist of the family, based on both personal and recent literature data.","PeriodicalId":37407,"journal":{"name":"Travaux du Museum National d''Histoire Naturelle Grigore Antipa","volume":"59 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88435100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
