However, a physical therapist can only observe once a patient at a time. Moreover, it takes a lot of time to suggest and evaluate the correction. From this problem, this research will develop the new rehabilitation guidance systems that assist the physical therapist and medical doctor. The intelligence interaction system is proposed for detection and monitoring the rehabilitation of the stroke patient who stays on the bed. The proposed system detects a stroke patient by using a 3D camera, which is the Intel Realsense D415, to place at the end of the patient bed for extracting the patient from the bed by measuring the distance between the patient and bed. From the segmentation result of the patient, the proposed system evaluates the rehab posture of the patient by detection from the simulated skeleton to calculate from the changing degree of the shoulder joint, elbow joint, and wrist joint. In addition, the proposed system uses the capabilities of artificial intelligence to check the accuracy of physiotherapy patients and show to the patients how to perform physical therapy correctly. From the experiment results, the proposed system represents the effective monitoring and evaluation of the stroke rehabilitation that the program can accurately count the arm flexion gesture therapy. Therefore, the intelligence interaction system can usefully help the physical therapist to monitor and evaluate the rehabilitation of stroke on the bed.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132163393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, medical professionals routinely measure the status of a patient by monitoring the vital signs. In Thailand, the current practice is assessing each vital signs manually and log them into a paper-based form. This process put a lot of workload into the medical staff, especially the hospitals that have limited human resources. Besides, using the paper-based forms may cause misinterpretations that lead to the wrong diagnosis. Thus, an efficient way to record and monitor vital sign information is necessary for inpatient care. This paper presents the design and development of a vital sign recording and monitoring systems for the inpatient department of a small to medium-sized hospital. Nurses can use the vital sign recording system on a handheld computing device. The data visualization dashboard at the nurse center promotes the perception of the patient's condition. The real-time value-based notification technique has been applied to create interaction, lower the delay, and improve the quality of user experiences. The preliminary evaluation results have shown that our proposed system can leverage the effort of medical staff and enhance the quality of inpatient care.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123877734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed method is designed for performing in the frequency domain to propagate a friction ridge pattern from good to poor-quality areas. In the first stage, the algorithm starts with a block of high ridge signal strength to initially boost ridge spectra by a matched filter. The boosted block is then padded back to the input image, so that neighboring blocks can absorb the stronger ridge signal. We carry on this process iteratively at neighbors to propagate the friction ridge pattern until the entire image is done. However, at the low ridge signal strength, the matched filter cannot enhance the ridge signal well enough. In the second stage, we use a sparse autoencoder-based spectrum generator to approximate the matched filter for the spectrum boosting process. The proposed method was benchmarked with two existing latent fingerprint enhancement methods. The experimental result shows that the proposed method provided the promising accuracy on publicly available IIT-D MOLF latent fingerprint database.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128834710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research proposes a wheeled walker equipped with a 2D laser scanner (LIDAR) for a novel prototype of gait training system. Gait parameters such as stride length and step length were concurrently measured based on this developed system and a clinical gait assessment system (Qualisys) in order to investigate the performance of this prototype. It was found that the assessments of these gait parameters were appropriately preformed with the sufficient accuracy. This developed system may effectively enable daily gait training for community use.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115942028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To compare the error values, researchers use 2 statistical values which are the Coefficient of Multiple Determination (R2) and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The model has the highest R2 value and the lowest RMSE value will be the appropriate model. The models used for comparison in this paper include Linear Regression, Decision Tree Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors Regression, Support Vector Regression, and Multilayer Perceptron Network. The learning dataset comes from the survey of planting area and yield of lychee in Thailand during 2004-2018 and dataset in 2019 to test the performance of the model. The results show that Support Vector Regression has the highest accuracy in forecasting, followed by Multilayer perceptron network, Linear Regression, Decision Tree Regression and k-Nearest Neighbors Regression, respectively.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116419568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design method starts with analog filter prototypes consisting of peak filters, low-pass shelving filter, and high-pass shelving filter in the form of transfer function in the s-domain. The bilinear Pascal matrix is used for converting the transfer function in s-domain using bilinear s-z transformation to obtain all three types of digital filter as a transfer function in z-domain. By cascading of these digital filters result in obtaining a digital parametric equalizer. The simulation results are shown and hardware implementation on STM32F769 for real-time testing is also demonstrated to ensure the successfully of the proposed design and implementation.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128128536","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, extensive validations are required to confirm the viability and reliability of the communication links before actual implementations. In this work, the transient domain characteristics of the UWB channel for liver-implant environment are presented. Numerical simulations were performed using a digital male model. Pulse fidelity was extracted from simulated data. The pulse fidelity is more than 70% suggesting the feasibility of using the considered wireless telemetry system for transplanted liver monitoring. Consequently, this also indicates the reliability of system performance for the considered communication scenario using UWB technology. This work aims at accommodating the tasks related to the wireless communication system design for implant medical telemetry applications.","PeriodicalId":371552,"journal":{"name":"2020 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125825318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
