It has led to both fatal and non-fatal disabilities all around the world, especially in those areas where medical resources are not good enough. Early diagnosis of skin diseases increases the chances of cure significantly. Therefore, this work is comparing six machine learning algorithms, namely KNN, random forest, neural network, naïve bayes, logistic regression, and SVM, for the prediction of the skin diseases. The information gain, gain ratio, gini decrease, chi-square, and relieff are used to rank the features. This work comprises the introduction, literature review, and proposed methodology parts. In this research paper, a new method of analyzing skin disease has been proposed in which six different data mining techniques are used to develop an ensemble method that integrates all the six data mining techniques as a single one. Ethical issues arising due to algorithmic biases are one of the greatest challenges faced in the generalizability of AI models today. The authors address safety and regulatory barriers that impede data sharing in medicine as well as potential changes to existing techniques and frameworks that might allow ethical data sharing for machine learning. With these developments in view, they also present different algorithmic models that are being used to develop machine learning-based medical systems that will potentially evolve to be free of the sample, annotator, and temporal bias. For their introduction into practical application, the continuous integration of the user perspective is crucial to ensure acceptance and usability. This can be achieved by the user-centered design approach. In an earlier publication, several problems with its functional implementation within research and development (R&D) projects were pointed out. This chapter discusses possible solutions to promote an effective integration of the user perspective in R&D projects based on six interviews with experts from Germany. The results can be summarized in three main requirements: first, the generation of a common understanding of the target group; second, a scientific research approach considering the context of technology usage; third, projectification, with a focus on efficient resource planning, the development of generic technologies, and technology evaluations with the user group. Digitalization and automation accelerate the development and deployment of innovative artificial intelligence tools tailor-made for clinical applications; decision support systems represent an important example of such tools. This chapter is devoted to discussing the role of artificial intelligence in current and prospective medical care and ethical aspects of their deployment. As developed countries currently go through remarkable transforms of medical care involving informatization and centering around medical information and knowledge, this chapter also discusses future ideals of medical care characterized by the concept of information-based medicine. Ethical and patient safety implications of using artificial intelligence within information-based medicine are overviewed here. While these drugs have proved to be sufficient to reduce the perception of pain in patients of all ages, they do not come without any potential side effects. The prolonged use of such drugs can have adverse effects on the health of a patient. This research proposes a shift away from such practices and proposes the use of technology as an adjunct tool to help patients cope with pain. Through the adoption of affective computing, this research presents Morpheus results obtained at the time of writing confirm that the approach presented by this research is indeed useful and can achieve results that are in line with the set out as part of this study. The chapter sets the background to the ethical dilemmas that are encountered within the field, which technologically advanced devices cause such dilemmas and why, and then discusses the ethical dilemmas as encountered by the three stakeholders within the profession, namely the manufacturers/innovators, the prosthetic and orthotic practitioners, and the users of the devices themselves, the patients. The chapter starts with three examples of using automated systems in healthcare and continues by proposing an understanding of the ethics from the perspective of the meaning assigned to optimisation. The argument is that we need to deeply explore the aim of optimisation in order to shed a different and perhaps more revealing light on ethical questions related to AI use in general, and in healthcare in particular. For this reason, the authors created a virtual reality simulator which mimics the symptoms of a person suffering from schizophrenia at a virtual workplace. The simulation is managed by an artificial intelligence system which asks the user to attempt simple tasks, while simultaneously facing both visual and auditory hallucinations. The AI also adapts the storyline and character behaviour dynamically to increase the immersiveness of the experience. A pilot study was carried out, and the initial results were very encouraging. In fact, the absolute majority of the users stated that the simulation has helped increase their understanding of schizophrenia. In this chapter, the authors evaluate this experiment but from a different perspective.
