A total of 24 students, with varied levels of language proficiency in Spanish, participated in this study. Results show that indirect feedback is slightly more effective in the short term, whilst direct feedback seems to facilitate students’ retention in the long term. {"title":"La interpretación subjetiva de la ambigüedad léxica: una aplicación lexicográfica","authors":"N. En la primera parte del trabajo experimental presentado se demuestra que las dos definiciones no son equivalentes. En la segunda parte se prueba que lo sincronico es lo que tiene relevancia a nivel psicolinguistico, ya q;ue es la clasificacion sincronica la que arroja datos estadisticamente significativos. Teniendo en cuenta todos estos datos, se realiza una revision de la ambiguedad en la lexicografia actual, comparandola con los modelos mas extendidos de representacion del lexico en la memoria a largo plazo. Por ultimo, se propone el diseno de un diccionario bilingue de ambiguedad, basado en datos sincronicos. EnglishThe two types of lexical ambiguity (homonymy and polysemy) are usually defined according to diachrony, but a synchronic approach can also be applied. In the first part of the experimental work here presented it is shown that those two definitions are not equivalent. Secondly, it is proved that only synchrony is relevant on a psycholinguistic level, since it is the synchronic approach the one that produces statistically significant results. Considering all this information, a revision on lexical ambiguity and lexicography is conducted, making a comparison with the most extended models of lexical storage in long-term memory.
