Two resonance modes were observed in the finite range of the out-of-plane bias magnetic field, where two magnetic moments separated by the Ru layer were antiferromagnetically aligned. These two modes show an opposite dependence on the bias magnetic field and correspond to right- and left-handed polarized spin waves. We also theoretically derive the spin wave dispersion for the perpendicularly magnetized synthetic antiferromagnets on the basis of an equation of motion. Miyamoto","doi":"10.3379/msjmag.2201r002","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3379/msjmag.2201r002","url":null,"abstract":"We have developed magnetic nanowire memories with no mechanical moving parts in order to achieve the large-capacity and ultra-high data transfer rates required for spatial imaging three-dimensional television (3D-TV). In a magnetic nanowire, binary information is recorded by means of a magnetic field induced by two recording wires that are orthogonally fabricated above the nanowire. We simulated the magnetic domain formation process and found that it was formed stably in a magnetic nanowire when we utilized two recording wires. In addition, by adding a certain time difference to the current, the magnetic domains were formed with low current density. We introduce a minimum normalized readout field H 0 after 10 years of archiving and an information degradation rate R 0 during 10 years of archiving. To interpret the results, we investigate whether there is a correlation between H 0 or R 0 and an effective thermal stability factor for 9 and 6 grains/bit. We find that there is a strong correlation since the anisotropy constant is much larger than the shape anisotropy. The H 0 and R 0 values are functions of the effective thermal stability factor and grain number, and are independent of grain number per bit. The effective thermal stability factor necessary for no information degradation is more than about 120.
