Various con fl ict objective functions, such as the total fuel cost (TFC), the total power loss, total emission gas (TEG), and the total voltage deviation have been optimized individually and simultaneously. The proposed TEO is validated on the electric test system Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 30-Bus. The optimization results achieved by the proposed method in solving single-objective functions were more e ff ective in fi nding the optimal solution compared to several well-known algorithms. The results clearly show the superiority of the proposed method in the majority of the case studies, with a better solution and competitive computational time. In contrast, the proposed multi-objective TEO (MOTEO) based OPF is investigated to solve the multi-objective OPF. It can be noticed from the results obtained that the proposed MOTEO achieved the better optimum compromise solution with a TFC value of 822.4796 $/h and a TEG value of 0.26939 ton/h, which yields a competitive total cost (970.8219 $/h) compared to those obtained by other algorithms. Moreover, the statistical analysis proves that the proposed MOTEO needs a lower number of trials to locate the best solution, also the standard deviation required to solve the single-objective problems is 0.03361, which is better compared to other techniques. The simulation results achieved by this method compared with other competitive algorithms proved the superiority of MOTEO in fi nding better solutions while also producing a high-quality Pareto front with appropriate precision.","PeriodicalId":36781,"journal":{"name":"Electrica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140476785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Worldwide, these systems are effectively utilized to monitor individuals on probation as they serve their sentence within the community. The use and significance of electronic monitoring systems are increasing day by day in Türkiye. This paper presents a CEEMDAN and Kernel based Meta-Extreme Learning Machine hybrid forecasting model using data on active offenders convicted of different crimes between 2013 and 2021 in Türkiye. Thanks to the proposed model, it is aimed to plan the equipment that will be needed and to provide optimal system management by observing the development of electronic monitoring systems in Türkiye. To validate the proposed model, it is compared withsome state of theart model. The superiortyof the proposed modelis shown usingsome performance metrics. Moreover, the current status of electronic monitoring systems in Türkiye from past to present is shown statistically. While most studies on electronic monitoring focus on its financial or legal dimension, this paper performed a data driven forecasting approach for optimal planning.","PeriodicalId":36781,"journal":{"name":"Electrica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140473022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dynamics of an isolated DC microgrid with solar photovoltaic panels, battery, and constant power load is a fractional nonlinear model; thus, the complex nonlinear method should be applied for controller design and stabilizing the system. In multi-input multi-output systems with non-linear elements, non-linear control methods should be used, but this paper presents a straightforward technique for designing decentralized controllers for the buck, boost, and buck-boost converters in an isolated DC microgrid to stabilize the system and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control of the solar photovoltaic panels. The presented methods can consider the nonlinear decentralized feedback linearizing control for the nonlinear system. Depending on the performance of the converters in the system, proper dynamic models are introduced for the converters, and decentralized controllers are determined. Various scenarios are simulated and compared to conventional methods. The results indicate that the settling time of the output variables and the overvoltage of the DC-link voltage are reduced by less than 30% compared to other techniques.","PeriodicalId":36781,"journal":{"name":"Electrica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140474966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the course of image reconstruction, the inverse scattering problem is resolved through either qualitative or quantitative means. The inverse scattering problem can be resolved by utilizing the truncated singular value decomposition (TSVD) algorithm, which is a suitable inversion method that can be employed when there is a need to discard a portion of data. The utilization of multi-frequency multi-static inversion techniques yields results that exhibit greater robustness and clarity when contrasted with single-frequency mono/bi-static con fi gurations. However, it should be noted that the TSVD formulation may not be su ffi cient in practical experimental situations, as it fails to account for potential deviations in power among excitations at varying frequencies. As a result, it is imperative to perform a calibration process to standardize the power variations across di ff erent frequencies. The proposal outlines a calibration methodology that aims to achieve power equilibrium across various frequencies and facilitate the automation of imaging algorithms. The proposed calibration technique is evaluated and demonstrated through the use of a through-the-wall experiment.","PeriodicalId":36781,"journal":{"name":"Electrica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140474396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
