However, when it is needed a wide regulation of the fundamental amplitude, conventional application of Walsh transform forces to switch among different equation sets, due to the range limitation of each one of them. In this paper it is described an advanced method to obtain the switching angles that permits full regulation of the fundamental amplitude, with only a switching interval vector, in single phase systems. The paper shows Matlab simulation results that proof the efficiency of the advanced method algorithm.","PeriodicalId":367790,"journal":{"name":"2011 7th International Conference-Workshop Compatibility and Power Electronics (CPE)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122068887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In these examples, most attention has been paid on the results obtained with specific design of magnetic sensor. There is though a lack of actual design consideration of the sensor regarding its target bandwidth and sensitivity. In current paper the focus is put on the design aspects of such a magnetic loop sensor. Geometrical shape of the magnetic sensor loop is considered and coils with different shapes are put into tests to determine their real parameters.","PeriodicalId":367790,"journal":{"name":"2011 7th International Conference-Workshop Compatibility and Power Electronics (CPE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129958840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, the European Union has adopted an action plan for improving urban mobility where the public transport is the main key. To present day, solutions as special bus lanes, electrical and hydrogen buses and rail-guided buses have been tested and implemented in several cities as London and Madrid. In this article an automated stopping system for electrical buses is presented. Stopping system have been implemented by the AUTOPIA program on an electric minibus and tested on a private circuit with satisfactory results.","PeriodicalId":367790,"journal":{"name":"2011 7th International Conference-Workshop Compatibility and Power Electronics (CPE)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128509513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed topology combines the advantages of the three-level neutral-point-clamped full-bridge inverter with those of the quasi-impedance-source inverter. The steady-state analysis of a neutral-point-clamped quasi-impedance-source inverter in the case of continuous conduction mode is presented. The novelty of this paper is the fact that the SMC is used instead of the conventional Field Oriented Control (FOC) and therefore the injected HF test signals for tracking the machine' saliency (difference between Ld and Lq) is naturally eliminated by the SMC. Such suppression is tackled when using the SMC and the position signals are calculated to properly estimate the permanent magnet (PM) position. Finally, some simulation results are presented, confirming the proper angle estimation at low speed reversal and load impact at zero speed.","PeriodicalId":367790,"journal":{"name":"2011 7th International Conference-Workshop Compatibility and Power Electronics (CPE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132701660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Main criteria for the quality of the operating behavior are based on mains pollution (e.g. harmonics) and the power fluctuation through variations of the wind speed. The dynamic and stationary operating behavior of wind energy converters (WEC) are defined by the drive train structure and the control algorithm. The essence of this paper is the investigation on the operating behaviors of different WECs generator systems in relation to their influence on the mechanical drive train's operating performance. Because of practical experiences so far, only a few concepts are suitable for the design of the electrical part. Therefore, in this paper, a theoretical and simulation based comparison will be carried out. Five different concepts (some state-of-the-art and some new creations especially for off-shore use) therefore, are compared in relation to necessary requirements.","PeriodicalId":367790,"journal":{"name":"2011 7th International Conference-Workshop Compatibility and Power Electronics (CPE)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115517609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
