This bibliometric analysis aims to analyze the characteristics of the literature on sports activities during COVID-19 published in the Scopus database. Year of publication, type of publication, publication stage, language, country, institution, scientific source, author, and keywords are used as parameters in the analysis of sports activities and Covid-19. A thorough examination of 1480 documents from 2020 to 2023 (as of June 23, 2022) revealed four were issued and 1476 were analysed. According to the findings, the most publications occurred in 2021, with 805 documents. United States became the most active country with a total of 302 documents. With 160 documents, the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health was the most productive scientific source. The most common type of article documents (n = 1,116, 75,61%) Publication status: final (n = 1374, 93.08%). Most types of sources are journals (n = 1,449, 98.17%). There is a wide gap in the productivity of publications in the field of sports activities during the COVID-19 pandemic between countries with strong and large sports traditions and countries with developing sports traditions.","PeriodicalId":367770,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Metrics Studies and Social Science","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125269309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines the evolution of safety knowledge research based on publications productivity, subject areas, proactive authors, energetic research institutions, and the primary authors’ keywords. This study deliberates the bibliometric analysis of previous publications pertinent to safety research by using the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases. A graphical depiction of bibliometric results is attainable using the ScientoPy and VOSviewer. This study found a significant increase in safety knowledge publications, with WoS publications outpacing Scopus in growth explicitly in 2012. “Food Science and Technology” has been the most thoroughly researched field. Also, this study revealed that “Food Science and Technology” became the primary focus of safety knowledge research. Osaili, T.M., and Jevnik, M., are acknowledged as proactive contributors to safety knowledge research. Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan, dominated the number of publications. This study discovered that content analysis through the analysis of authors’ keywords is principally focused on “food safety”, “attitudes”, and “practises”, which are closely related and provide a meaningful relationship. This bibliometric analysis concludes that the safety knowledge research output is considerable. This bibliometric analysis provides an overview of safety knowledge research, which may accommodate practitioners and researchers interested in expanding or discovering a new understanding of this subject and establishing robust safety knowledge research theories and practices.","PeriodicalId":367770,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Metrics Studies and Social Science","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114836142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Leachate can travel into soil and subsoil, seriously affecting the land, surface water, and groundwater ecosystems. Leachates typically contain significant quantities of organic matter, ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N), toxic chemicals, and organic and inorganic chlorinated salts, which are detrimental to living and biodiversity. Based on the significant risk posed by leachate, many kinds of research have been conducted on these environmental concerns. Therefore, this paper aims to analyse and report leachate-related publications by ASEAN authors based on the data collected from the Scopus database. As of 24th April 2020, a total number of 1133 articles were retrieved and analysed. This study examined publication productivity by analysing descriptive publication patterns and visualising keywords co-occurrences. The results showed that there had been an increase in the literature on leachate growth rate from 1989 until 2020. However, the number of publications slightly dropped in 2011 and 2014. This study revealed the widespread scholarly communication techniques in leachate research, which will assist future researchers in identifying the fundamental parts of this body of knowledge. In conclusion, this study enables researchers to develop innovative solutions to the leachate environmental problem by assessing the bibliometric parameters that provide the study’s crucial and noteworthy findings.","PeriodicalId":367770,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Metrics Studies and Social Science","volume":"615 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123340472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study employed a survey-based approach with questionnaires to collect data concerning promotions among general university staff at a private university in the Klang Valley. The analysis revealed that 68.9 per cent, or 102 general staff, have not yet been promoted, while 36.5 per cent, or 54 general staff employees, have attained their maximum wages. The results indicated that the promotion of staff to a certain level of position in the organisation is deemed essential. Thus, this study suggests that an organisation, specifically a private university, must re-examine promotion and wage structures. The human resource department should apply the most appropriate improvement strategies aligned with its vision and mission. This is necessary to  combat the destructive perceptions of employees toward the organisation.","PeriodicalId":367770,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Metrics Studies and Social Science","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122080409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 85 form two students from secondary schools in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, were selected as the sample in this study. Pupils are chosen randomly. Researchers have used a questionnaire instrument that is divided into three parts, namely student demographics, close-ended HOTS questions and open-ended HOTS questions. The findings of the study show that there is a difference between the levels of HOTS, which is analysing and evaluating in regards to the gender of students for closed-ended questions. Meanwhile, there are differences in all four levels of HOTS with respects to the gender of students for open-ended HOTS questions. The results of this study will enable the Malaysian Examinations Council to plan questions that are appropriate to the level of HOTS of all students in Malaysia. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Ministry of Education can focus on programmes for male students to reduce the gender gap in international and national examinations.","PeriodicalId":367770,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Metrics Studies and Social Science","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133307870","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
