The experimental results show that the correct recognition rate of the proposed method is encouraging. Moreover, the proposed method is robust to real occlusions or simulative occlusions. Many consumers in good health tend to forget about the importance of medical device reliability and robustness. The breakdown of virtually any medical instrument can have deadly consequences for the patients who rely on them. Deadly consequences lead to grief, lawsuits, and severe monetary losses for families, physicians and biomedical companies. Though prognostics methodology has been widely used in the area of consumer electronics, its applications to medical instrumentation have been largely overlooked. In order to improve the localization accuracy, a weighted centroid localization algorithm based on least square to predict the location of any sensor in a WSNs is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm proposes a Least-Square-based weight model which can reasonably weigh the proportion of each anchor node in the unknown node. In the weight model, we utilize least square method to compute the weight. Then, we increase the weight of anchor nodes closer to the unknown node, introduce the parameter k into the proposed likelihood model, and we determine the optimal value of the parameter k through our experiments. In previous years, many algorithms can only set up fixed appearance models to track object. Recently, more and more tracking algorithms have been proposed to deal with object appearance variation and illumination change. However, these algorithms are easily influenced by the background and can only track the object for a short time. A novel incremental principal component algorithm with classifier detection is proposed to solve the drifting and long-term tracking problems. Here to relief the problem, we attempt to provide a candidate solution by quantifying the traffic condition based on kernel density estimation. With the traffic condition quantifier, one can estimate a function which approximate the traffic condition on the spatial space. Since most of the traditional skin segmentation methods have the problems of relatively large delay and complexity, they are not fit for real-time applications. To settle this problem, this paper proposes to use the Look-Up-Table (LUT) method for skin segmentation which has very fast operation speed. The method is implemented on an FPGA device modeled by Verilog HDL and targeted for Altera DE2-70 board. 17 ALUTs and 1024 bits of memory are used, when the FPGA system is running at a pixel rate of 27MHz.
