Strecker","doi":"10.17648/coen-2019-115393","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17648/coen-2019-115393","url":null,"abstract":": Currently there is a great interest in the use of industrial waste as a raw material for obtaining and developing new products, in order to meet market demand and provide technological options that are mainly environmentally sustainable. Among these industrial residues are the source materials of aluminosilicates (Al2O3.SiO2), such as fly ash, which when reacted with a highly alkaline medium are able to form rigid and highly cementitious structures. These structures are popularly known in the construction industry as: geopolymers, inorganic polymers or alkali-activated materials; where they have been studied by researchers around the world as a way to replace with Portland cement in some applications. Geopolymer binders have been reported to be acid resistant and thus a promising alternative binder, for example, for the manufacture of sewer pipes. This work, therefore, sought to investigate the behavior of the geopolymer matrices obtained by the alkaline activation of fly ash from the Jorge Lacerd / SC thermoelectric complex when exposed in highly corrosive environments such as sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) in different concentrations (0, 3, 6 and 9%) and exposure times (1, 3, 7, 14 and 28 days). Also called Additive Manufacturing, had its main methodologies created in the 80's. Only after the expiration of the main patents its popularization started. The machine operation is still considered complex for beginner users, mainly due to the lack of documentation. Using a methodology with the objective to identify in literature and the practical experience of the authors the minimum necessary procedures to use this kind of printer. This article also presents the results in a simple and objective way, being a practical guide for new users. It contains recommendations for purchasing a 3D printer and the softwares needed for its operation. Also include the settings that can be available and how it interferes with the final quality. Finally how to avoid printing errors and the finishing process to the printed object.
