In addition, operating regions of series Resonant Converter (SRC) is large when compared to parallel resonant converter (PRC) and series-parallel resonant converter. The main advantage of using a dual bridge resonant converter is to extend the output voltage range, high power density, high efficiency and widen soft switching ranges. The proposed resonant converter is dual bridge series resonant converter with dual tank circuit [1- \u00004] incorporating Proportional Integral (PI) and Fuzzy controller. The dual tank circuit can extend the ZVS region, so that switching loss can be reduced. A three input DC-DC converter with buck-boost operating capability is introduced in this paper. The converter is capable of integrating energy sources which have different V-I characteristics. The output equation of the DIDC converter is derived from different working states using voltage - second principle. Also, the converter which has been presented in this paper can incorporate a single source or multiple sources with a small modification in the converter structure. This converter topology is designed and simulated in MATLAB / SIMULINK platform. Three input sources with different voltage levels such as 30 V, 20 V and 10 V are used for the performance evaluation of the converter. A small scale experimental setup has been developed to check the performance evaluation of the converter in real time condition and the results are incorporated. Many integration issues arise of connecting Solar PV to the grid out of which power quality is the important factor. Higher PV injection causes undesirable technical impacts on the distribution networks which leads to power quality issues. This paper studies the impact of PV on the power quality of the utility grid with different levels of penetration of solar energy into the grid. The power quality of the grid is studied using the Total harmonic distortion (THD) by performing Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis. This paper deals with the development of controllers for boost converter and grid tied inverters which minimizes the harmonics due to solar PV system and power converters in grid connected PV system. The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for boost converter and Hysteresis current control (HCC) for inverter has been designed and implemented in grid connected PV system. The hysteresis current controller for the inverter has been specifically designed to reduce the THD of the system meeting IEEE519_1992 regulations. The simulation model of the grid connected PV system has been designed in MATLAB 2018b version.
