The data were filtered with use of Augmented Dickey Fuller unit root test while Johansen cointegration test was used to justify the long-run relationship among all included variables. Annual data were gathered from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Statistical Bulletin and World Bank Indicators (various issues). It was discovered that government stabilization policies are potent determinants on the industrial sector output in Nigeria both in the short-run and long-run. An appropriate monetary and fiscal policies mix and adjustments to match the dynamic nature of the economy would not only develop and sustain the Nigerian industrial sector but also enhance the living standard of the people.","PeriodicalId":364803,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134026419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the production of goods and services women formed a sizeable population of the labour force. This has not been an exception in Nupe land. The friendly nature of ecology of Nupe land made it possible for production of ground nut in large quantity that allowed for its utilization in different forms most especially by the women. Thus the plants, the nuts and the shell are used by women in different forms. It is on this premise that the study examined production, utilisation, marketing and consumption of groundnut among Nupe women. The study uses historical research methodology of oral interaction, reconnaissance survey and unpublished and published materials in collection of data and analyses. The study revealed that Nupe women played supportive role in cultivation through planting, harvesting, and separation of pod from plants to processing into different bye products and marketing.","PeriodicalId":364803,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"134 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123222037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He was, in fact, the leading missionary of that early Christianity. But most Christians may not be fully aware of these noble facts, as Paul was also really notorious for his earlier brutal persecution of the same Church. This article aims at bringing out the laudable merits and legacy of this great apostle which remain exemplary for all Christians, especially the Christian leaders, to this day – a fact for which the Church specially celebrated the Year of St. Paul from June 28, 2008 to June 29, 2009. The methodology employed in this work is the historical-exegetical method. With the help of this method, the shining examples and general legacy of this great apostle in the early Church have been more deeply unearthed with the result that they would now become a constant and lasting encouragement for all Christian leaders, and Christians in general, as well as biblical scholars and students. It is on that note that this article, which was initially a reflection for priests and Christian leaders here in Nigeria, has now been updated and is being published for the benefit of a wider audience.","PeriodicalId":364803,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125746466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One such effort was made by the Ondo State Government by creating Amotekun Security Network for Ondo State. This is to improve the security of life and property of people in the state. This was a result of the persistent siege laid by marauders on the highways and farms in the state. There is no doubt about the good intensions of the Governor which he has backed up with action in the inauguration of Amotekun Security Network for Ondo State. However, the trend of combatting crime and terrorism in this 21st century has gone more sophisticated to the extent that conventional security architecture has become grossly inadequate, thus the need to upgrade security architecture to the level whereby security system and the personnel can combat the crime and even nip it in the bud before attacks. This can only be possible by complementing the conventional structure with available geospatial apparatus for security surveillance in confronting the challenges of insecurity not only in Ondo State but Nigeria at large. This paper thus appraises the challenges of insecurity in Ondo State and the role of geospatial surveillance and mapping. The paper was based on a review of literature and qualitative technique of analysis. This paper was structured into background information about Ondo State, an overview of security challenges in Nigeria with attention on Ondo State, the take-off of Ondo State Security Network Agency called Amotekun, and highlights on geospatial technology solutions for security surveillance in confronting insecurity challenges. This paper thus concludes that insecurity in Ondo State and the entire Nigeria could be curbed if security network can be complemented with geospatial surveillance and mapping technique.","PeriodicalId":364803,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133519963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Perhaps, it was the inspiration of the philosophical enquiry. The mind has always been at the center of man’s quest for meaning. It is the principal questioner of existence. It is the chief interpreter of reality. The mind is the eye of the self. It is in the mind that we become conscious of our selfhood as entities different from the rest of the world. The mind is often thought to be a category other than matter. It is said to be apart from matter but somehow acts on matter. It is often seen as the primary substance in existence. While some thinkers posit the sole reality of matter, some posit the primary of reality of mind. Some still, posit the primary but not sole reality of matter. Still, some posit a duality of mind and matter. But the critical question subsists. How do we explain the reality of mind in a material cosmos? This question warrants reexamining the traditional assumptions on the nature of mind, the qualities of matter, and perhaps, reexamining the language used in defining the concepts of mind and matter. If mind meant the opposite of matter, there could neither be any mind in a material cosmos nor matter in a spiritual cosmos. But the cosmos is the way it is. We are merely trying to comprehend it. The cosmos does not necessarily have to conform to the constructs we make about it. Mind and matter are linguistic constructs formulated to explain the realities we witness in the cosmos. To that end, this work looks at the possibility of a mind in a cosmos that is material. The work aims at resolving the linguistic, scientific and philosophical dichotomies encountered in discussing the concept of mind. The research relies on philosophical analyses and library research.","PeriodicalId":364803,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121802357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Inspired by this requirement, this paper aims to explore whether it would be appropriate to teach both innovation and entrepreneurship as a general university course requirement to be offered to all undergraduate students apart from their university major. Additionally, this paper aims to highlight several specifications which can be considered whilst designing a general university course with the aim of augmenting and enhancing entrepreneurship education. To achieve these aims, the authors distributed a questionnaire of twelve items to ninety-three undergraduates belonging to different colleges.
