The work stress of health care providers (HCPs) associated with providing telehealth care services in China has been less studied. Our study describes the telehealth services provided by hospitals in China and examines the relationships between telehealth use and work stress of HCPs in China during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a survey research design, HCPs aged 18 or older in China were electronically recruited from October 19 to November 10, 2021 (n=1,073). After preprocessing, data from 1,036 HCPs were used for further analyses, which included descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression models. Results showed that 64.29% of Chinese hospitals reported virtual physician-to-physician consultations, and 59.94% of Chinese HCPs conducted online physician consultations. Lower levels of HCP work stress was associated with live video conferencing (p=0.04), online physician consultations (p=0.00), and higher levels of team collaboration (p=0.00) and team trust (p=0.00). Work stress was also positively correlated with COVID-19 stress (p=0.00), working hours (p=0.00), and the interaction between live video conferencing and COVID-19 stress (p=0.04). HCPs’ work stress decreased by using live video conferencing and online patient care. However, the positive effects of live video conferencing may decrease with the increase in COVID-19 stress for HCPs. Our findings encourage efforts to develop extensive coverage of telehealth service systems in China to promote HCPs’ virtual communication and collaboration to relieve HCPs’ work stress and support their well-being.","PeriodicalId":363748,"journal":{"name":"Decision Making and Analysis","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139254543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to research, these portals can improve patient satisfaction, patient self-management, and patient engagement. Despite their advantages, patient portal acceptance and utilization are still low, particularly among self-managing emerging adults. This study examines the impact of emerging adult risk intentions on patient portal adoption and utilization using perceived risk theory. Emerging adults between the ages of 18 and 29 were surveyed, and structural equation modeling was used to ensure the accuracy of the results. The results highlight the significance of healthcare institutions and the technology developers putting into practice useful tactics and insights to get through resistance behavior and promote adoption and use of patient portals. The study also emphasizes the significance of developing training, awareness campaigns and cost-effective measures to lessen patients' risk perceptions.","PeriodicalId":363748,"journal":{"name":"Decision Making and Analysis","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125120284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then, the existing aggregation algorithms of SNINs lack a parameterized aggregation method to reach a flexible decision-making method subject to different decision risks. Therefore, this study proposed a MADM approach using some aggregation operators of parameterized single-valued neutrosophic numbers in a simplified neutrosophic indeterminate scenario. First, we presented a conversion technique from SNINs to parameterized single-valued neutrosophic numbers (PSVNNs) by an indeterminate parameter. Second, we proposed the score function of PSVNN and the parameterized single-valued neutrosophic weighted arithmetic averaging (PSVNWAA) and parameterized single-valued neutrosophic weighted geometric averaging (PSVNWGA) operators. Third, a multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) approach with the smaller, moderate and larger decision risks is developed by the PSVNWAA or PSVNWGA operator in a SNIS setting. Forth, the developed MADM approach is applied to the choice problem of clinical physicians as a numerical example. Generally, the developed MADM approach reveals the advantage of flexible decision making subject to the smaller, moderate, and larger decision risks of decision makers in a neutrosophic indeterminate scenario. However, this study reveals the main contributions in the aggregation algorithms of PSVNNs and flexible MADM approach in a SNIS setting.","PeriodicalId":363748,"journal":{"name":"Decision Making and Analysis","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124528421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore selection of the appropriate mine transportation system by considering the effective criteria has become an important issue in mining engineering. A hybrid decision support system based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) was proposed to assess criteria and alternatives for balancing haulage distance, continuity, flexibility and reliability, which could provide the suitable balance between different goals, such as costs and safety. An application of this approach is carried out through the Sungun copper mine as case study. For this purpose, the production capacity, medium and short-term production plan, conditions of mining benches and ramps and future development plans collected from chosen mine located at the East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. This research has been studied comprehensively in terms of technical, economic, environmental, society, site information, geological and geo-mechanically criteria. More than 170 criteria were identified and classified under six main categories. To select the mine transportation system, the importance of each criteria is first measured relative to each other, then the importance of each option is evaluated for each criteria and were filtered to 55 items. The proposed model is based on the combination of the AHP and fuzzy TOPSIS. The hybrid model has advantages such as the possibility of using paired comparison and considering uncertainty. Finally, the in-pit crushing and conveying is selected as the best alternative, the truck-front shovel and truck-backhoe system are in the next priorities, respectively 45.2, 28.4 and 26.4%. In summary, from the results of the research, it can be mentioned to present the effective criteria in the selection of the transport system of open pit mines, to calculate their weight, to provide a framework for the selection of the transport system of open pit mines by considering the uncertainties.","PeriodicalId":363748,"journal":{"name":"Decision Making and Analysis","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126230344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the decision to select the right and applicable ERP implementation and success factors for businesses is a crucial matter. However, due to the cost of ERP implementations and the lengthy adaptation periods for businesses, selecting the relevant systems and success factors requires careful consideration. Identifying ERP implementations and success factors that are suitable for the business processes and structure of the company is a significant decision-making problem, which can be considered as a gap in the literature. In this regard, this study used the Neutrosophic Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method to analyze the critical success factors for ERP in production companies that had more than 10 employees. The results show that project management and top management support were the most important factors. The results have significant implications for business managers and stakeholders involved in the subject matter in terms of cost and resource efficiency as well as gaining competitive advantage.","PeriodicalId":363748,"journal":{"name":"Decision Making and Analysis","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133722310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These systems have been applied in many Western countries for several purposes, the most important of which is traffic safety and the reduction of losses resulting from poor planning of these networks. Many transport systems in developing countries continue to suffer from many problems, such as high accident rates, traffic congestion, and pollution from car exhaust. This paper aims to use multi-criteria decision-making methods to help select the best technology to overcome the traffic problems in Libya. A hybrid model of Analytic Hierarchical Process (AHP) and the Measurement Alternatives and Ranking according to COmpromise Solution (MARCOS) method was used. The AHP method was used to determine the weights of six technologies for intelligent systems, with the results showing that the most appropriate technology was surveillance cameras, with a weight of 28%. The resulting weights were used to rank the impact of these technologies on safety, environment and efficiency. This study can help decision makers on selection of the best systems that can be used to overcome the current problems faced by the transportation system.","PeriodicalId":363748,"journal":{"name":"Decision Making and Analysis","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127824662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
