As examples, the connections of a pipe with a welded shell and a technological pipeline with a through crack in the metal stratification zone delamination are given. It is shown that the calculation of structures with defects is based on the determination of the type of stress state that occurs under load, which is usually characterized by the value of the stiffness coefficient.
