The system is characterised by a natural circulation of helium, as a coolant, and assume the steady operating conditions of the circulation. The helium loop consists of four main components: the model of the gas-cooled fast reactor, the model of the heat exchanger for the decay heat removal, hot piping branch and cold piping branch. Using the thermal calculations, the thermal performance of the heat exchanger model and the thermal performance of the gas-cooled fast reactor model are determined. The calculations have been done for several defined operating conditions which correspond to the different helium flow rates within the system.","PeriodicalId":35968,"journal":{"name":"Strojnicky Casopis","volume":"68 1","pages":"1 - 10"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41323058","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The application of these materials brings possible complicatons during the forming when it proves the considerable influence of stress-strain characteristics differences of of the individual parts of TWB what result in non-constant material flow and consequently a negative movement of the weld interface [3, 4]. One of the ways of elimination of this negative effect is to choose a suitable blankholder system with optimal distribution of blankholder forces by using elastic blankholder with adjustable distribution of blankholder forces. Within the bounds of study the experimental blankholder system with elastic blankholder with adjustable distribution of blankholder forces was used [5, 6]. Finite element methods (FEM) simulation has unsubstitutable role n the study of formability of TWB whereby it is possible to determine the values and points of application of the blankholder forces [7, 8]. The FEM simulations results carried out in simulative LS-Dyna software are presented in this article which is focused on achieving weld interface movement minimalization of tailor welded blanks from DP600 and BH220 materials by optimization of blankholder forces [9, 10].","PeriodicalId":35968,"journal":{"name":"Strojnicky Casopis","volume":"68 1","pages":"102 - 95"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45903747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on this model, it is possible to build an optimization cycle that looks for parameters which are influencing the driving of vehicles along given path. The given path must include a driving through the town, out of town and along the highway section, so the test track contains the greatest number of driving modes. Data for neural network are obtained from the CAN bus and the GPS sensor. Based on the built model and given route it is looking for such route drive, where it eventually came that the development of fuel consumption is lower than in unoptimized drive.","PeriodicalId":35968,"journal":{"name":"Strojnicky Casopis","volume":"68 1","pages":"81 - 88"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44343052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The theory used assumes that the plant (vehicle model + road unevenness model) is excited by white noise with Gaussian distribution. The term quadratic is related to a quadratic goal function. The goal function is chosen to provide the possibility to emphasize three main objectives of vehicle suspensions; ride comfort, suspension travel and road holding. Minimization of this quadratic goal function results in a law of feedback control. For optimal designs are used the optimal parameters which have been derived by comparison of two optimisation algorithms: Sequential Quadratic Program (SQP) and Genetic Algorithms (GA's), for a five chosen design parameters. LQG control is considered to control active suspension for the optimal parameters derived by GA's, while the main focus is to minimise the vertical vehicle body acceleration","PeriodicalId":35968,"journal":{"name":"Strojnicky Casopis","volume":"68 1","pages":"61 - 68"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46206785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence it is necessary to add a low cost fuel which has higher volatility, with the diesel. The tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) produced from waste tire and tubes have these desirable properties and hence in this work, we have mixed TPO with biodiesel to enhance the properties of the biodiesel. The engine tests were carried out on a single cylinder compression ignition engine with the mixture of biodiesel and TPO as fuel. From the engine tests, it is observed that the fuel mixture results in engine performance close to diesel operation at the higher injector nozzle opening pressure.","PeriodicalId":35968,"journal":{"name":"Strojnicky Casopis","volume":"68 1","pages":"15 - 24"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43968486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The six samples of lap joints were prepared namely: bolted joint (BJ); adhesive joint (AJ); welded joint (WJ); bolted-welded joint (BWJ); adhesive-welded joint (AWJ) and adhesivebolted joint (ABJ). The breaking load of the joints in terms of breaking load and elongation were evaluated for each joint. The effect of the adjustment attached to the joint on the breaking load and elongation were evaluated. Taguchi method was applied for given input parameters and L4 design of experiments was used. The breaking load and elongation were taken as output response. The predicted values by Taguchi method were used as target values in neural network fitting curve. Neural network fitting tool was used to check whether the obtained values were near the target value or not. Based on the achieved results, the maximum breaking load and elongation were found for bolted-welded joint.","PeriodicalId":35968,"journal":{"name":"Strojnicky Casopis","volume":"68 1","pages":"51 - 60"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.2478/scjme-2018-0005","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46557128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
