For this purpose, the nanofluid water-Al2O3 is chosen as the cooling fluid, which is in forced convective and laminar flow in a two-dimensional rectangular microchannel. Then, as a first step, the impact of the chosen nanoparticles' concentration in the range was studied: (0 ⩽ Φ ⩽ 0, 04). The Nusselt number and the coefficient of friction were analyzed. The results show that the thermal performance has been remarkably improved (more than 40%). These results are mainly due to increased effective thermal conductivity and viscose coolant (nanofluid). In a second step, the impact of the solid diamond blocks' insertion in the initially laminar flow was analyzed. The inserts' presence strongly disturbed the flow and caused a modification of its structure (velocity field, temperature field, etc.). The results show that for the same concentration of corpuscles, the average Nusselt number and friction coefficient increase much more with the Reynolds number's rise compared to the case without inserts. The study has thus allowed us to show that a nanofluid of high concentration can best adopt as the cooling fluid of a heat sink, and such a heat sink with diamond inserts has the best thermohydrodynamic performance (more than 40% increase). The differential equations system's resolution governing the problem is ensured by a finite volume scheme associated with the SIMPLE algorithm (Semi Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equation). The study performed with a Reynolds number chosen in a range corresponding to the laminar regime: (600 ⩽ Re ⩽ 1400). The concentration of the nanoparticles taken in the field: (0 ⩽ Φ ⩽ 0.04) corresponding to the validation range of formulas (7) and (9).","PeriodicalId":359089,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Electronics, Control, Optimization and Computer Science","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125021319","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new proposed MPPT technique in the second cited references is used to track the available maximum power (MPP) from the PV generator. On the other hand, the interleaved boost converter is used to minimizing the output current, voltage and power ripples. Two simulation scenarios are provided to examine and evaluate the tracking effectiveness of the proposed MPPT technique using the interleaved boost converter. The first one is carried out under sudden variation of solar irradiation however the second is made under slow variation of solar irradiation. The design of gears is highly complicated involving the satisfaction of many constraints such as strength, pitting resistance, bending stress, scoring wear, and interference in involute gears. In addition, using conventional or traditional optimization techniques to solve this problem could not give optimum results. A stochastic approach as a Genetic Algorithm (GA) is applied in this paper to find the optimal combination of design parameters for minimum weight of spur gears. The purpose of this study is minimizing the weight and the center distance of one pair of spur gears. This objective was accomplished by the means of the GA under some constraint such as bending strength, a contact stress and each dimension conditions of gears, which must be satisfied. The results are calculated by using Matlab tools of Genetic algorithm with four type of materials, which are standard steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, and Alloy copper.","PeriodicalId":359089,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Electronics, Control, Optimization and Computer Science","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128331185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
