Continuous improvement of risk management process can be achieved by utilizing emerging technologies, standards and experiences. In the scope of this study, risk management process improvement activities are implemented and maintained for a year within a sampled set of software development projects carried out by the TÜBITAK-BİLGEM Cyber Security Institute. Our achievements, at the end of those activities, include the integration of risk management process with software development life cycle tools, a constantly visible risk treatment plan, while ensuring a proactive risk management approach. In addition, we setup an infrastructure to increase the involvement of stakeholders into the risk management process. The risk management process, which was improved as a result of this study, was implemented in other cyber security projects within TÜBITAK-BİILGEM Cyber Security Institute. The on-board computer is one of the essential components of a satellite system. It is costly and challenging to encounter hardware failure in an on-board computer after launch. STM Defense Technologies Engineering Inc. has developed a low cost, high-performance national on-board computer for satellites. In this study, we described a test software designed for MICROSATPRO, the national on-board computer. MICROSATPRO performs tests through this software during the space-mission where it is an experimental load. For this reason, primarily, the processes should be specific, automatable and measurable; the opinions of the teams on improvement should be supported both for these processes and their own works.In this study, the contribution of the teams to the improvement works in the retrospective meeting, which is part of the improvement-oriented agile product development process, LAPIS (Logo Agile Process Improvement System) developed by LOGO, by being inspired by the lean manufacturing concept, has been supported by machine learning. The aim has been to expand the opportunities for the works of teams to improve and to be based on data. Although there are various well-known approaches based on optimization methods, which aim to generate test data such as Simulated Annealing, Ant Colony and Genetic Algorithms, there is no systematic study, which classifies these approaches according to special requirements such as comparing the novelty of the proposed approach with the well-known methods and the types of the benefits, if any. The objective of this paper is to provide an information to assist and guide researchers on this research area by supporting further research efforts. In order to close the gap in the existing literature and address this need, we have already started a systematic mapping study. In this paper, we present the preliminary analysis of this ongoing study with a subset of overall pool, which includes 2635 papers. More specifically, in this paper, we examined ~10% of our final pool of papers (i.e., 260 papers) and found 42 relevant studies, which addresses our research questions. The preliminary analysis, showed that the studies, which focus on generating optimized test data, either create new approaches or improve the existing approaches by adding new features. Despite these tools, especially for large-scale applications, developers and test teams must (1) produce test steps from given test scenarios, (2) execute the test steps, and (3) evaluate if the test has passed or failed by observing the application behavior. FARLEAD-Android is a fully automated test generation engine which accomplishes these tasks for the developers and test teams. In this preliminary study, we evaluate FARLEAD-Android on a large-scale banking application. In our experiment, FARLEAD-Android reaches 54.55% of the activities, verifies the correct execution of six different functions, and reveals issues in three different functions during verification in approximately 24 minutes.
