However, the hardware-based implementations of the OCR – which can be 10-100 times faster than the software-only method – seem to not have been fully exploited. This paper briefly reviews the research material addressing software based OCR but focuses more on the hardware realization of Arabic OCR. The software-only OCR methods have achieved reasonable maturity but require use of PCs (or similar platforms), which is an obvious hindrance for OCR implementations in small form factor, such as pens or mobile devices. Different researchers have addressed individual, sub-tasks of Arabic (non-Latin) OCR, but not as complete, functional systems. The recognition accuracies also have significant room of improvement. Brainwave signals from EEG were measured and analyzed using intelligent signal processing techniques and specific algorithm. Consequently, the signals were statistically correlated with established psychoanalysis techniques to produce BBI system. The result shows that the PSD analysis provides reliable BBI with 80% conformity. The speech signal is processed through best effort policy based IP network, which include delay, packet loss and jitter network problems. The quality of VoIP speech signal can be improved by filtering the degraded VoIP speech signal through multirate filters. The work in this paper deals with the implementation of Interpolated finite impulse response (IFIR) filtering algorithm on degraded VoIP speech signal using TMS320C6713 DSP processor. The filter was designed using polyphase structure. The results of implementation experiment indicate the improvement of signal quality. But today the speed of fetching data from memories is not able to match up with speed of processors. So there is the need for a fast memory controller. The responsibility of the controller is to match the speeds of the processor on one side and memory on the other so that the communication can take place seamlessly. Here we have built a memory controller which is specifically targeted for DRAM. Certain novel features were included in the design which could increase the overall efficiency of the controller, such as, searching the internal memory of the controller for the requested data for the most recently used data, instead of going to the RAM to fetch it. Systematic systems engineering approaches with radio frequency (RF) electronic warfare modeling and simulation scenarios are built to support research in vulnerability analysis. RF electronic warfare models are used to provide a practical yet simple process for assessing and investigate the vulnerability of tactical RF systems. The focus is on military or tactical wireless network within a system of systems (SoS) context research area. Wireless RF communication network vulnerabilities critically studied within Department of Defense (DoD) organizations to provide a comprehensive network vulnerability assessment approach. Researchers have proposed a variety of methods to build network trees with chains of exploits, and then perform normal post-graph vulnerability analysis. The high PAPR increases the complexity of Analogue to Digital (A/D) and Digital to Analogue (D/A) converters and also reduces the efficiency of RF High Power Amplifier (HPA). In this paper, we propose two novel PAPR reduction techniques for OFDM systems, Zadoff-Chu matrix Transform (ZCT) precoding based PAPR reduction technique and ZCT postcoding based PAPR reduction technique. Simulation results show that, at clip rate of 10-1, the PAPR of our both proposed systems reduced to 0dB, 3dB, 4.1dB and 4.3dB for M-QAM (where M = 4, 16, 64, 256). The whole network system performance or Quality of Service (QoS) can not be achieved without the optimal selection of the relay nodes. For this paper, the network performance is analyzed for m number of relays for n number of source nodes. The simulation results are measured by considering four nodes only in half duplex mode. The mentioned techniques can further be applied to more than four nodes in full duplex mode. So, by considering the optimal performance routing for a subset of problem, which can be further applied to whole wireless network. There have been a lot of works in this domain taking advantages from the traditional techniques and algorithms from Game Theory and Algorithms. This paper discusses the scenario of three types of nodes (Source, Relay & Destination). There are many common scenarios in which the additional relay selection or route leads to degrade in the system performance [Braesss Paradox]. And these type of scenarios can be analyzed by using techniques from traditional traffic engineering domain. Dynamic relay selection plays an important role for the increase in system performance. The greedy approach in the wireless network approach leads toward the Nash Equilibrium which may be suboptimal but not optimal. The relay selection procedure can be optimized with application of game theoretic approach to increase the system performance, as a whole. So, the main objective is to present and algorithmic approach to solving the Relay Selection in Cooperative Communication using techniques from Optimization and Game Theory for amplify-and-forward case.
