Consequently, renewable energy devices must convert it to the form implied by the nature of the on-board grid. One of the key converters involved in converting photovoltaic energy is the synchronized grid converter. The nature of on-board voltages raises the question of whether the available synchronizer systems will do the job for an elevated frequency grid, which may behave differently from the power grid. The paper presents the system of photovoltaic converter adapted to operation with 400Hz grid frequency. Basic synchronization method and a proprietary synchronization system using fuzzy logic were implemented and tested. An FPGA was used as the control element, which additionally enabled performed tests of specific changes in on-board network parameters. Based on the obtained measurement results, comparative characteristic was drawn up and conclusions were formulated.","PeriodicalId":356488,"journal":{"name":"2021 Selected Issues of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (WZEE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114186543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The code, as well as the GUI (Graphical User Interface) was developed using MATLAB environment and connection between the two software packages was achieved through the TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) internet protocol. Robot model used for this purpose is the Unimation’s PUMA 560 industrial robot which can be found in the online library of the RoboDK. Information regarding robot joint angles is important for planning the robot’s movement and generating the trajectory between the two positions, so it could be of use to have all the position/orientation vectors listed for further calculations. Drawback of the RoboDK software is the inability to generate the trajectory so the goal of this project is to avoid that problem with the help of the MATLAB software.","PeriodicalId":356488,"journal":{"name":"2021 Selected Issues of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (WZEE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121339741","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, interest in the integration of renewable energy sources into the electricity grid as a strategy to counteract the problem of energy scarcity has increased significantly. However, the high instability of renewable energy sources (RES), in terms of electricity supply, combined with changes in energy consumption levels, makes the use of energy storage systems (ESS) necessary. Despite the stochastic nature of RES, interest in their operation continues to grow for environmental reasons. Therefore, this paper reviews in detail the status of different types of electricity storage technologies. The advantages and disadvantages of selected battery technologies are presented and the factors to be taken into account when selecting a suitable unit for energy storage in the power system are presented.","PeriodicalId":356488,"journal":{"name":"2021 Selected Issues of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (WZEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116151281","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
