Due to changing habits of living life, the number of arthritic people will increase rapidly. Currently, the existing anti-rheumatic drugs mostly show side effects like acne, blurred vision, high blood pressure and more effective to reduce pain and improve disease conditions but still, they do not treat the disease completely. Literature available indicates that most of the people seek complementary alternative treatments (CAM). Ginger (Zingiber officinale) has empirically explored its use as an anti-inflammatory agent. Amongst others, the Topical route of drug delivery has built up popularity because it avoids first-pass effects, metabolic breakdown associated with oral administration and gastrointestinal irritation. Also, they are less greasy and can be easily washed off from the skin surface. The current study aimed to formulate antiarthritic gel containing ginger extract and to evaluate its drug release activity. The topical ginger gels were prepared using Carbopol 934 as a gelling agent with varying concentrations, i.e., 0.5 %, 1 %, and 1.5 % w/w. The gel was assayed to determine percent purity and cumulative drug release. Results indicated that the 1.5 % w/w concentration of carbopol in ginger gel exhibited an adequate drug release. In conclusion, an antiarthritic gel containing 1.5 % w/w of carbopol had a good consistency, acceptable spreadability, and showed a good drug release profile. The topical prepared herbal ginger gel is a simple, easily formulated, convenient and economical alternative that needs to be weighed in the treatment of RA.","PeriodicalId":355617,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology","volume":"302 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116791402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So, this project mainly focuses ondemonstrating a system that can help facilitate this inconvenience. This can be achieved byinterpreting the traffic sign as a voice note in the user’s preferred language. Therefore, the wholeprocess involves detecting the traffic sign, detecting textual data if any with the help of availabledatasets and then processing it into an audio as the output to the user in his/her preferred language.The proposed system not only tackles the above-mentioned problem, but also to an extent ensuressafer driving by reducing accidents through conveying the traffic signs properly. The techniques usedto implement the system include digital image processing, natural language processing and machinelearning concepts. The implementation of the system includesthree major steps which are detection of traffic sign from a captured traffic scene, classification of traffic signs and finally conversion of classified traffic signs to audio message.","PeriodicalId":355617,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology","volume":"228 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130838352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result of this rise in production, as well as the increasing rate of product consumption, e-waste from electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), has become the fastest-growing waste stream in the world. This study helps to quantify the existing generation rate, health, and environmental impacts of e-waste. A structured questionnaire has been processed in Gazipur and existing literature was reviewed. A total of 1200 households were interviewed using structured questionnaires. The results revealed that several income families used different types of electronics products. Eproduct consumption depends on an individual’s income and e-waste generation depends on warranty policy and product life cycle. The health consequences of both direct exposures during recycling and indirect exposures through environmental contamination are potentially severe but poorly studied. E-waste concepts are relatively new in Gazipur as a result this study revealed, 840 households were aware of health and environmental impacts. E-waste minimization, reuse, or recycling is necessary but it should be conducted in a safe and standardized system. Recycling stations should be established with maintaining safety measures for workers and to conserve the environment from being contaminated. The government should involve in waste management by establishing rules and regulations specific to health safety and environmental issue relating to e-waste","PeriodicalId":355617,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129242494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The input image is an ultrasound image as it is cost effective when compared to other imaging techniques like CT, MRI. The initial step in image processing is to remove noise by applying filters. Application of filters smoothen the image without blurring the image. Gradient of the processed image is calculated and the image is enhanced by sharpening the edges of the image are achieved by calculating the local maxima of the gradient. Then, the edges are decided by calculating the threshold value of the processed image.
