This representation can be seen based on user perception in the University of Indonesia Library of the reference service and also seen from the strategy undertaken by the University of Indonesia Library in improving the quality of their reference service. This research is a qualitative research using case study method. The results of this study indicate that the reference service Library University of Indonesia can be used as a representation of the library of universities, because the University of Indonesia Library managed to make their reference services become more active and more innovative by bringing various innovations in it to get closer to the user. In addition, users also express their opinions regarding reference services in the University of Indonesia Library, this will further strengthen the purpose of this research is a reference service as a representation of the University of Indonesia Library. SDIT Luqman Al-Hakim International Yogyakarta’s Library has implemented an IBRA V6 automation system in a library services. However, this library still often do the service manually although it is automated. Therefore, evaluation of IBRA V6 automation system in library is needed. This study aims to evaluate the performance of IBRA V6 based library automation system on the circulation section of SDIT Library Luqman Al-Hakim Internasional Yogyakarta. The method of research is a qualitative approach that focuses on the process of circulation, borrowing and return collection. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation. This research is based on service performance theory then formulated with theory of success model of DeLone & McLean system which got 5 indicator from 3 Aspect that is supporting facilities, system quality, operational, service and resultant impact. Of the five indicators are obtained the result that the first indicator of supporting facilities was adequate, but the space was very tightso that the overall service is less. As for other indicators obtained good results, effective and efficient. One of the requirements of internationalisation of scientific journals is that the articles in the journal have been cited by other articles in reputable international journals. Another requirement is the use of primary reference resources by the article comes from relevant and new scientific journals and proceedings. This study aimed to (1) identify the usage of Jurnal Agritech as the reference in published articles in international scientific journals indexed by Scopus, and (2) examine the refereed themes (Jurnal Agritech) in the article themes (other reputable journals). The study used the descriptive research method with quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted in February - March 2017 at Gadjah Mada University Library. Study results showed that Jurnal Agritech was used as a reference in articles published by international scientific journals indexed by Scopus. From the eight international scientific journals, the number of referred articles in Jurnal Agritech was one to six articles. Overall, articles published in the eight international scientific journals indexed by Scopus have referred to literatures relevant to Jurnal Agritech. Library selection activities are conducted by professional librarians who have the ability to develop collections. Due to the importance of library materials selection activities, the researcher conducted a study at the Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 1 Pacitan Library. This study aimed to describe the principles of the librarian in the library material selection process at the library of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 1 Pacitan. The study used the descriptive qualitative method, with sampling using the purposive sampling technique to the librarian and non-librarian at the Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 1 Pacitan Library. The data collection technique in this study used the semi-structured interview instruments. The researcher used the scope of library material selection principles consisting of the traditionalist, liberal and pluralistic view. According to the liberal view; the study results showed that librarians were not able to market the library through the approach to students. To the traditionalist view, the main principle in meeting the needs of students was based on the quality of library materials. While the pluralistic view suggested that most students were not satisfied with the literature available at the Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 1 Pacitan Library. Values and norms of the ‘songket’ culture are governed by the people’s belief that there was an ancestral sacred oath. The local people make information fosters the development of knowledge. This promotes the transformation of knowledge as a form of local knowledge development of the Pandai Sikek community which is fully supported by the community and by the use of media as well. The purpose of this study was to look at the communication pattern of the weaver, employer and government in the transformation process of local knowledge. The research method used was qualitative with ethnographic approach. The main data were collected by unstructured interview, observation and documentation study. The communication pattern among weavers was circular, involving experience, information sharing, application, knowledge, and innovation. Study results indicated the existence of a pattern by the weaver’s community, were experiences shared through information sharing, and then applied to create knowledge. The use of knowledge would result in innovation and then became an experience again. Entrepreneurs became the bridge for cooperation to support the economy of society. The government issued a policy of protection and knowledge preservation through HAKI (Intellectual Property Rights). The knowledge of Sunda has become a representation of the language used by the Sunda ethnicity in ancient and present times, thus it is necessary to record the development of language science and Sundanese literature into the DDC system in the library. This study aimed to extend the Dewey’s Classification notation in the field of the Sundanese language and literature. The scope of this study was to review the Indonesian and Sundanese language and literature notations in the 23rd edition of DDC Classification System, the development of knowledge about the Sundanese language and Sundanese literature, as well as the extension of the notation on the subjects. The research used a qualitative method using a descriptive. The result of this study was the extension of the Sundanese language and literature subject notation to complete the DDC classification scheme, which then would be submitted to the Library Material Development and Information Services in the National Library of Indonesia. Furthermore, the development of knowledge of the Sundanese language and literature that have been published in various forms of publication, to date can be represented by some more specific classification notation under the notation 499.223 2 for the Sundanese language and under notation 899.223 2 for the Sundanese literature. This development requires the readiness of all lines to adjust to the needs of the changes, which are to support the realization of good government administration and the improvement of the quality of public services. This study aimed to determine the perceived usefulness of digital archive management using Dinamic Filing Information Systems (SIKD). The study used a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection technique used questionnaires and was measured using the Likert scale. The instrument validity test used logical validity with expert judgment; reliability was measured using the Alpha Cronbach formula with coefficient value 0.796. Subjects of the study were a total of 19 educational staff of the Faculty of Education Yogyakarta State University. The result revealed that 78.9% of respondents claimed that Dinamic Filing Information Systems (SIKD) improved their performance. 94.8% of respondents stated that SIKD improved user productivity, and all respondents acknowledged that their perfomance increased due to the use of SIKD. Thus, SIKD provides the performance of an archive information system which is useful for archive management in Faculty of Education Yogyakarta State University and users are satisfied with this SIKD. The school library becomes to foster students reading interest if the collection is adapted to the students' needs. The SMA 3 Depok Library is a school library that has a library collection from fiction and non-fiction. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the availability of library collections which included the relevance and completeness of collections, and the collection updates in order to foster students’ interest in reading. The research method used the quantitative method through descriptive survey conducted on students of class XI SMA 3 Depok, with a population of 408 students. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with a total sample of 81 students. Data were obtained through a questionnaire, observation, interview, and literature study. The result of this research indicated, the library collection was quite relevant, the collection of books fulfilled the completeness of the collection, however the non-book collection did not exist yet; moreover, the library collection was in accordance with the latest development of knowledge. So, based on the three indicators previously mentioned, SMA 3 Depok students’ reading interest has developed which is shown by the high frequency of reading interest. Many factors have contributed to this, among other the types of books available, unreliable library time, non-permanent librarians, even the scorn of friends who think of reading in the library as behavior that pretending to diligent. Many factors have contributed to this, such as the types of books available, unreliable library time, non-permanent librarians, even the scorn of friends who think of reading in the library as pretending to be diligent and smart, which cause students to be reluctant to regularly visit the library. Hence, classroom teachers need to reaffirm the library functions and persuade students to visit and utilize facilities in the library. This article presents the evaluation results of students attitude after receiving information about the library described by the classroom teacher. The method used in this study was descriptive study, with fourth-grade students of an elementary primary school as the object, data collection techniques used questionnaires, and data analysis used a single tabulation based on quantitative data. The results showed that students had a better attitude toward school libraries, from the cognitive aspects were such as knowledge, trust, and assessment, and the affective as well as conative aspects. Therefore, it is expected that schools through the classroom teacher can intensively spread information about the function of school libraries, and improve library facilities and services to the students, so they are accustomed to using the library as a first step in forming the love-literacy generation. The study used the qualitative method with case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews with Telkom University students, observation, and literature study. Study results showed that the initial stage was based on the motivation and goals arising from self-awareness and the need to increase knowledge in completing tasks and scientific works (thesis/TA). Browsing began with authentication using an SSO account (Igracias), and information retrieval began with using a simple search facility. Students also used the internet to access various other sources with the Google search engine to further enrich the required information. Then, At the formulation stage, students conducted brainstorming by learning and understanding the problem-solving process related to the appropriate topic and discussing it with friends, lecturers, or people who were considered understandable and could be invited to discuss related topics that were being deepened. The collection stage was done by downloading the file and storing it in their laptop folder. At the presentation stage, students would feel satisfied after getting the information so it is possible to do monitoring. The presentation was performed in the form of writing a new document or as a complement in both the completion of lecture assignments (proposal and paper) as well as the writing of scientific papers (thesis/TA).
