Magnesium alloys as first degradable plates have many problems. Zinc alloys also suffer from toxicity of degradation product. In this paper, Zinc-based alloys with different ratios of Mg (magnesium) were fabricated to find the best combatable degradable bone plate for medical applications. Zinc with Mg (0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 wt. %) were prepared. In-vitro study. effect on cell viability, adhesion, cellgrowth, and degradation tests of Zinc- XMg alloys were done. Mechanical Compatibility and Microstructure of Zn-XMg were investigated using SEM (scanning electron microscope) and EDS (energy dispersive spectrometer). The results of the analyzed alloys' compositions showed that Zn-xMg were comparable. Microstructurally, all fabricated alloys had a dendritic structure of Mg + MgZn matrix. When the percentage of Mg wt.% increased to one, small elongated particles were appeared obviously at grain boundaries. The presence of Mg + MgZn mixture in the structure effects on mechanical properties. Compression strength of Zn–Mg alloy were enhanced from 65-75 MPa for pure zinc to 600 MPa and 620 for Zn–0.5 Mg alloy and Zn–2Mg alloy. High hardness and wear resistance were observed for alloy with 0.5% Mg. Tensile strength of Zn-Mg alloy were enhanced from 39 MPa for pure zinc to 320 MPa and 300 MPa for Zn-0.5 Mg alloy and Zn-2Mg alloy. For all the investigated alloys, the degradation rate values were increased with increasing amount of Mg %,. On the contrary, the results of mechanical properties showed that the highest ultimate tensile strength value was recorded when Mg wt. % was (0.5). Electrochemical measurements show degradation rates ranged from 0.038 to 0.45mm/year with no toxicity on cell. So, it has great advantage that maintain high strength for long period till restoring damaged bone. Cell viability, adhesion and cell growth were significantly high for Zn- 0.5Mg. Evidently, the fabricated Zn-0.5Mg alloy is a novel biodegradable plate for biomedical orthopedic application. Its mechanical properties improved using 0.5Mg.% which acts as areinforced material for zn plate. This component of alloy exhibit the suitable degradation rate with no toxicity, mechanical strength, surface properties that needed to encourage cells and minerals to form a new bone.","PeriodicalId":354908,"journal":{"name":"2021 9th International Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computations (JAC-ECC)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127663940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Precise tracking of a SATCOM antenna is a key factor to establish efficient communication link between satellite and ground with minimum amount of data loss due to misalignment. To meet this need, antenna positioning system (APS) with high accuracy is required to provide inertially stabilized platform (ISP) for efficient antenna pointing. Some important factors need to be taken into account, such as location of satellite with respect to receiving antenna fixed on ground object, dynamics of the ground object, and weather condition effect with respect to used frequencies.Here, main antenna positioning system (APS) components, satellite tracking methodology and recent tracking techniques are reviewed.","PeriodicalId":354908,"journal":{"name":"2021 9th International Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computations (JAC-ECC)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132248295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been announced as a main use case of the fifth-generation (5G) cellular system, and can be viewed as the bottleneck in the way toward the sixth generation (6G) cellular system. Tactile Internet comes with massive number of applications in all life fields that makes it one of the promising systems. Designing and developing Tactile Internet faces many challenges; however, the one millisecond end-to-end latency represents the main challenge. Moreover, the required ultra-high reliability and availability, and the high system flexibility are design challenges. To achieve the required one millisecond end-to-end latency, and overcome other challenges, new technologies and network structure should be deployed. To this end, this work provides an efficient mobile edge computing (MEC)-based radio access network (RAN) for Tactile Internet. The developed MEC-based RAN deploys a MEC server structure with a developed MEC controller that facilitates the MEC operation. The deployed MEC structure is a multilevel structure with heterogeneous edge servers. The developed structure is simulated over reliable environment for different simulation scenarios and the results indicate that the introduction of MEC controller achieves higher energy efficiency in terms of latency, availability, and reliability.","PeriodicalId":354908,"journal":{"name":"2021 9th International Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computations (JAC-ECC)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124023376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this system, the original IrisCode is partitioned out into binary-shards then every binary-shard is represented by a point over the elliptic curve and encrypted via elliptic curve cryptography. As a result, the protected IrisCodes can be stored and transmitted from the local iris readers to the centralized server as well as between various servers more securely. The proposed iris recognition system is evaluated using CASIA-IrisV3 database in terms of accuracy, security, and privacy.","PeriodicalId":354908,"journal":{"name":"2021 9th International Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computations (JAC-ECC)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122537513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Music with brainwave entrainment beats (Digital Stimulant) is one of many factors that affect brain waves. Digital stimulants can result in positive effects on human neurons. Stimulants may be used as a therapeutic stimulus, such as pain reduction. Also, it can have negative effects on the brain when its use increases feelings of depression or provokes seizures in patients with epilepsy. All of the research on the effect of music on brain waves has been done by classifying electroencephalograms (EEGs) collected from volunteers while listening to various types of music. However, EEG-based recognition suffers from the difficulty of obtaining each piece of music and obtaining humans to test it. This leads to the proposed idea of using music features such as Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) and Gammatone Cepstral Coefficients (GTCC) to classify music and determine whether or not it will affect the brain. Hence, this paper proposes an approach for music classification based on the presence or absence of digital stimulant based on bidirectional deep long short term memory (BDLSTM) architecture. Since, as far as we know, there is no classified dataset for the music files based on whether the brainwave entrainment beats exist or not, the paper also proposes a new brainwave entrainment beats (BWEB) dataset to evaluate the proposed model performance. Classification results showed that the best performance is obtained when using the bidirectional deep long short term memory (BDLSTM) as it achieved an accuracy of 90.2%, while deeper long short term memory achieved an accuracy of 88.4%.","PeriodicalId":354908,"journal":{"name":"2021 9th International Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computations (JAC-ECC)","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123524400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
