It has been reported that up to 30% of adult males in the general population may have committed frotteuristic acts. This chapter reviews the Fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the International Classification of Diseases criteria for frotteurism. Conditions for consideration in the differential diagnosis are discussed.
