Methods: Using data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) from 2013 to 2016, 763 workers with Type II diabetes mellitus who were≥30 years of age were included. Data were analyzed by x² test and multiple logistic regression using SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results: Glycemic control rates were lower in patients who had diabetes mellitus for 10~20 years than in those who had diabetes mellitus for 5 years or less, and this factor affected glycemic control in both men and women. In men, the odds ratio of good glycemic control was higher in insulin treatment, no hyperlipidemia, eat breakfast more than 3 times/week, eating out 3~4 times/week than other group. In women, the odds ratio of good glycemic control was higher in women who were not married and did not drink alcohol than other group. Conclusion: Factors influencing glycemic control differed in men and women. Therefore, it is necessary to provide individualized education by gender for patients with diabetes mellitus in hospitals and to prepare a detailed management plan for diabetes mellitus in work places and throughout society.","PeriodicalId":349848,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Journal of Rehabilitation Nursing","volume":"154 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122632133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: Data were collected from 2000 to 2018 articles in Korean database (KISS, RISS and DBPIA). 295 semantic morphemes were extracted from 123 articles by network analysis program. Co-occurrence matrixes of the morphemes were generated by weighting Jaccard-coefficient and then we did network analysis and visualization. Results: Common morphemes with high centralities were ‘Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM)’, ‘CAT’, ‘Aged’, ‘Diet therapy’, ‘Herbal medicine’, ‘Acupuncture’, and ‘Oriental medicine’. Since 2000, studies on complementary and alternative therapies have been actively involved in biological and manipulative therapies, and it has been found that the main target of CAT is the elderly. Conclusion: Despite much attention of complementary alternative therapies, the scientific basis is insufficient. Through this study, we could find research trends in complementary alternative therapies and set the direction of future research. It is necessary to expand research on complementary replacement therapy for various diseases and age groups.","PeriodicalId":349848,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Journal of Rehabilitation Nursing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121745822","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: Cross-sectional and correlational descriptive study design was used. The subjects were 106 post-stroke patients who were in or out-patients in a rehabilitation clinic at D city. Demographic, stroke related and post-stroke status variables (paralysis, arthria, verbal expression, visual disturbance, activity intolerance, nutritional status, depression and cognition) were included as affecting factors. Multiple regression was used to identify the affecting factors. Among demographic and stroke-related variables, significant variables such as age, education level, marital status, financial status, location of treatment, and total admission days were entered with post-stroke status variables. Results: Care dependency was still high regardless of disease duration or type of stroke. Overall, approximately 80.5% of total variances in care dependency was explained with all variables. Among those variables, nutritional status, cognition and activity intolerance were the significant affecting factors. Conclusion: To reduce the care dependency of post-stroke patients, it is recommended to improve nutritional status, cognition and activity intolerance.","PeriodicalId":349848,"journal":{"name":"The Korean Journal of Rehabilitation Nursing","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122592499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
