This research is a quantitative research. The data source in this study is secondary data obtained through the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Gorontalo Province Food Service. The data analysis used in this study is the Simultaneous Equation / Indirect Least Square. The results of this study indicate that food-processed MSME LQ and labor absorption have a negative and significant effect on the poverty of districts / cities in Gorontalo Province, both simultaneously and partially with a coefficient of determination of 91.372%. The more concentrated food-processed MSMEs are and the higher the labor absorption of food-processed MSMEs, the more they will be able to reduce poverty levels.","PeriodicalId":349564,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Public Representative and Society Provision","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117145786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data obtained relates to the welfare of the employees of PT. Royal Coconut, Gorontalo District, which was then analyzed through categorization and data reduction. The results showed that the theory put forward by Hasibuan about the types of welfare programs when compared with the welfare programs implemented at PT. Most of Royal Coconut is still not in accordance with what is happening in the field due to the fact in the research location that the employee welfare program has not been maximally implemented in terms of economics such as pension, food and transport fees. In terms of facilities such as arts, education funds, and cooperative activities and in terms of services such as pickups, babysitting, legal assistance, financial advisors, insurance and home loans, as well as free health clinic services in companies, they still tend to be limited due to insufficient supply of medicines and doctors and nurses who are often not in the clinic during employee working hours. From the results of the study concluded that the employee welfare is not good because PT. Royal Coconut has not implemented maximum employee welfare services in terms of economy, facilities, and welfare services.","PeriodicalId":349564,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Public Representative and Society Provision","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127600225","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A content analysis of news articles and social media posts, as well as surveys and a review of the pertinent literature, were used to collect data. Traditional media continue to play a significant role in influencing public opinion, but digital media have become a formidable tool for political communication, particularly among newer generations. Concerns regarding the propagation of false information and the impact of social media algorithms impede open and objective political discourse. There was unanimity that regulatory and accountability measures, such as media literacy programs and disclosure requirements for political advertisements, were required to ensure an honest and balanced media portrayal of political debate. These findings highlight the need for ongoing research and policymaking to address the dynamic character of political communication in the digital age.","PeriodicalId":349564,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Public Representative and Society Provision","volume":"182 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131497662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
