Several approaches have been proposed to assist in the semantic enrichment of services, by using domain ontologies. Nevertheless, most of the proposals found in the literature focus on the enrichment of the service description, neglecting data representations provided by such services. This work presents an approach to dynamically provide representations in the form of linked data in a service-oriented system. Therefore, we propose an architecture to build/evolve ontologies and to enrich services with concepts defined by such ontologies. As a way to increase the semantic expressiveness of services, the architecture employs ontology matching techniques to explore equivalences in external sources. The results show that the proposed solution can achieve satisfactory precision and coverage levels, as well as better performance compared to other approaches.","PeriodicalId":348938,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the XV Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123427649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We are using a multi-period facility location mathematical model to decide where and when to locate police vehicles in order to minimize the total cost (travel time to attend the calls) over the planning horizon. This system is building using the AIMMS software for modelling and solving the mathematical model. The forecasting of call demands was done using the Monte Carlo simulation and the maps of the studied urban centre were integrated within the AIMMS. A case of study in Recife-PE city was used to evaluate the applicability of the proposed approach. The decision maker can easily operate a graphical interface for changing the maximum number of vehicles that can be operating in each period of time and evaluate the impacts on the allocation and the total cost.","PeriodicalId":348938,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the XV Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131877968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From this perspective, this paper presents the ARReq, which is an approach that allows the elicitation, specification and reuse of requirements from BPLs. It has been defined to provide quality attributes, suggested by ISO/IEC 29.148, to the functional, non-functional requirements and business rules elicited with the support of any elicitation technique applicable to BPMN business process models. A qualitative analysis was carried out and allowed to observe that ARReq is scalable, has low coupling with BPLs management approaches, besides specifying the requirements reused in the formats of user stories and requirements document and to provide a traceability matrix to support the software maintainability.","PeriodicalId":348938,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the XV Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128097571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides corrupting analysis results, such inconsistencies may compromise the functionality of applications that need to correlate information from different sources, such as auditing and fraud detection systems. The traditional approach to this problem has two steps: first, duplicates are identified in a typically semi-automatic process and, then, each group of duplicates is fused into a single consolidated representation. However, this strategy may result in information loss if records have been erroneously classified as duplicates. This article presents a case study on a different approach, which consists of using graph database systems to model similarity relationships between data objects. In this way, possible duplicates can be dynamically identified using basic operations on graphs. The study was carried out within the scope of the Controladoria Geral do Estado de Goiás, as part of the development of an application to detect evidence of fraud in public bids. Initial results indicate that the proposed approach is effective and efficient in discovering links involving possible duplicates.","PeriodicalId":348938,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the XV Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132402927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although several data mining algorithms have been developed to extract knowledge from large databases, typically such algorithms restrict themselves to analyzing data in a single dataset, which imposes a limitation on the possibilities of exploration of the various connections between the datasets in the Web of data in search of new knowledge. To overcome this limitation, the present work proposes the MRAR+, a method for mining multirelation association rules in graphs that, unlike the methods of the state of the art, is able to identify new and useful knowledge involving resources of multiple datasets connected to the Web of data. However, the proposed method seeks to identify resources linked to other datasets that, when considered in the mining process, have the potential to increase the chances of obtaining new and useful knowledge in the analyzed dataset. MRAR+ was implemented based on the MRAR algorithm that extracts multirelation association rules in graphs. In addition, MRAR+ was applied in two case studies and has produced new and useful rules for the user, illustrating the feasibility of the proposed method for mining different datasets interconnected in the Web of Data.","PeriodicalId":348938,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the XV Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128670436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
