India’s banking system differs greatly from that of other Asian countries due to the nation’s distinct geographic, social, and economic attributes. The banking industry makes a significant contribution to the Indian economy by providing timely loans to all societal segments while also collecting deposits from them. Commercial banks promote balanced regional development in India by providing the required financial infrastructure and finances for underdeveloped areas. They also encourage individuals to preserve their money and use it for investments in profitable endeavours, so fostering economic growth and resulting in a significant boost to employment prospects. In recent times, the Indian banking sector is an industry that is expanding quickly and changing its shape through mergers and acquisitions with prime objectives to control the rise in bad loans or non-performing assets, robust financial health, upgradation of technology and ensure better scale efficiency. Numerous domestic and foreign banks are involved in merger and acquisition activities. This study tries to examine how major mergers and acquisitions have operated in the Indian banking industry. A crucial pre-requisite is the integration of the Indian banking sector through mergers and acquisitions based on business considerations and strategies. Bank mergers encourage institutions to expand globally and create better synergy while also enabling larger banks to acquire the troubled assets of smaller banks. Thus, the present paper is an initiative to elucidate the need for bank mergers and acquisitions and to study the impact of such mergers and acquisitions on the equity shares of the shareholders’ capital and on the financial performance of the concerned banks.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133015406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China and the United Arab Emirates are key economic partners, and bilateral ties have grown to this day. Since the signing of the People’s Republic of China and GCC Member States’ 2014-2017 Strategic Dialogue Plan, the release of the Third Round Press Communication of the PRC-GCC Strategic Dialogue, and the signing of the 16 China-UAE Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2015 at the China-UAE Economic Forum held in Beijing, the two countries’ relationship has grown even closer. The authors seek to explain how China leverages its long-standing partnership with the UAE into diplomatic relations in order to strengthen economic connections and commercial cooperation between the two countries. This form of study employs qualitative research methodologies as well as primary and secondary data sources. The goal of this research is to find out what the two nations are doing to enhance their economies through trade connections by employing library research methodologies. In terms of data analysis approaches, the author follows three steps: preparing and organizing data, decreasing data, and finally presenting data.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114668397","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern concern for natural resources started with the publication of Marsh’s book Man and Nature in 1864 where he pointed out that natural resources are not infinite. Nature always remained at a core position in economic analysis. During pre-classical period, physiocrats believed that nature was the primary source of value. Classical economists like Ricardo, Malthus, Mill, put nature as an important determinant in their theories. But classical economists concentrated only to the use values, neglecting their exchange values. The writings of Marx are also rich in ecological hints. Rise of neoclassical economists brought about a change in economic analysis. Emphasis was shifted from use value to exchange value. By 1930s scope of economic analysis was restricted to the factors that command price. Gradually, natural resources completely disappeared from economic production function. Economists started to believe that natural resources can substituted for manufactured capital. During that period, non-marketed ecosystem services were kept outside the scope of economic analysis. The advent of environmentalists during the second half of 20th century opened the door for non-marketed services to be incorporated in economic analysis. For this purpose, they devised various tools like market value approaches, revealed preference approaches and stated preference approaches. Present paper will give an account of the trend of environmental concern in economic analysis.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134196049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The way we do business, the way we study, the way we socialise, the way we travel, everything has changed. Several countries across the globe experienced lockdowns. The lockdown has forced people to stay indoors and be in survival mode. With no flights, salons, restaurants, hotels, transport, and even offices, the people were trapped in their homes. The home has been converted into a workplace, school as well as a playground. Several businesses have suffered losses and even faced shutdowns and on the other hand, COVID-19 has acted as a window of opportunity for many new products and services. Consumers are hence forced to change their purchase patterns. The grocery bill for most households has doubled during the lockdown. Dining out and travel has decreased. Generation Z is devoting the budget to education as they want to upgrade their skills and prepare themselves for the challenges that the post-COVID world will pose. OTT platforms have seen a surge in viewership as people are exploring all sorts of media to relax and rejuvenate in their homes. Groceries, automobiles, electronic gadgets, kitchen appliances, apparel, insurance, and financial investments are the major components of household spending. In this paper, we have explored the major components of household buying and how COVID-19 has impacted them. The study is based on inputs from a primary survey and existing reports and information. The primary survey helps us to understand the changes in household buying patterns, purchase decision-making, and gender roles. We have collected primary data using an online survey as face-to-face interaction was difficult due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The changes in household buying may become permanent changes or might fade away. Understanding this difference is crucial for marketers to formulate long-term strategies for their products and services. This study will provide insights and help marketers to understand the changing buying behaviour and purchase-decision making in households.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116410033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China has won the battle against poverty in an all-round way and is heading towards the path of socialist common prosperity. All Chinese people will continue to work hard for this.Today in the 21st century, China's education system is constantly improving, and China's education funds for all grades are constantly being invested. However, China is a country with a population of 1.4 billion. To achieve a real education power, the Chinese Ministry of Education should deepen regional differences and investigate sustainable cultivation systems suitable for the present and the future. The focus is on exploring various higher education and civil service examinations suitable for the long-term development of the Chinese nation.China's civil servant selection exam is very strict, with the aim of selecting a group of outstanding talents to enter government jobs every year. The central government should speed up the implementation of reform of the contract-based civil servant system, and strive to make grass-roots civil servants willing to stay at the grass-roots level and serve the people steadfastly.Reform the current age limit for those who sign up for the civil service examination, and strive to attract new comprehensive, and professional highly educated talents.The introduction policies of highly educated talents in various places in China should make good use of talents and retain talents. They should not be mere formalities. They should not only be used to complete the current government’s performance goals or to complete the tasks of superiors, and they should not only use short-term interests to attract doctoral talents. The central government should try its best to support private enterprises, so that private enterprises can enjoy the same treatment as central enterprises and state-owned enterprises. Private enterprises are the main economic support of a country and the place where many ordinary people work and live. It is necessary to guide private enterprises to speed up scientific and technological innovation measures, and allow more private enterprises to participate in international business exchanges through the \"Belt and Road\" construction.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121713418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There has always been confusion amongst legal philosophers regarding the appropriateness of the separability thesis, as to whether or not law and morality have a connection? The connection between the two concepts establishes an important idea as to whether the law should be followed according to moral standards or should be followed as it is without lawyers and judges being burdened with the responsibility morality. Usually, any legal legislation or law does not agree with the moral compass of a small group of people, but the major issues arise when the moral code of a majority population is violated by a law. The following essay is going to discuss the link between law and morality and the link between legal positivism and morality. After the due date for the Mortgagee’s Money’s Repayment has elapsed, the mortgagor is entitled to receive his property back upon payment of the principal plus interest. This right of the mortgagor is known as the Right of Redemption. The right cannot be restricted by any terms that bar redemption. Any agreement to the contrary cannot govern the right. This right is mentioned u/s 60 of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882. The word ‘Redeem’ means buy back. Here, in this context it refers to buy back the property which was mortgaged earlier by the mortgagor to the mortgagee. This right to redeem or in other words, right to discharge the debt u/s 60 generally accrues only after the completion of the mortgage period mentioned as per the terms of the contract. The limit for the maximum period of the completion of mortgage contract is not mentioned under any law in India but however in England, it is 40 years[i]. When the prerequisites for a retransfer are met, a mortgagor who is entitled to redemption may request that the mortgagee either retransfer the property to him or, in lieu of doing so, assign the mortgage obligation and transfer the mortgaged property to a third party that the mortgagor may specify.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123007039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The United Nations in its bids to protect International human rights established mechanisms to address human rights issues. These mechanisms have played vital roles in the elimination, promotion and protection of women’s rights. However, in theory these mechanisms exist to address women’s rights issues but in reality the result has been less than the system’s expectations. This failure has raised concerns for the protection and enforcement of international regime on women’s rights. The UN human rights system has also been actively involved in monitoring the core international human right treaties by state parties. The state parties that have ratified the treaties has an obligation to ensure the reform of discriminatory laws and practices; submit periodic reports to the treaty bodies which reviews State action including legislation and policies, reviewing States report on their compliance with international standard, visiting countries to carry out fact-finding, promoting human rights and making policy recommendations to States. This article will give a better understanding of International regime on women’s rights through the working of the United Nations human rights mechanism that is categorized into charter based bodies and the treaty based bodies. These human rights mechanisms work together for the promotion and protection of women’s rights. However, despite the human rights instrument provisions to protect the rights of women, there are some challenges that may impede the enforcement of these rights. Therefore, this article has identified some of these challenges and will proffer solutions to these challenges.","PeriodicalId":348282,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Review","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132165087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
