Stakeholders at the higher education institution will see how the data produced by graduates can be trusted and no data manipulation takes place at the higher education institution. Based on this problem, this article explains how higher education institutions use blockchain technology that is able to maintain data security and prevent data manipulation, especially in academic transcript files. Academic transcript records become an output from students after completing a semester or level of education at the higher education institution. In general, academic transcript records are used when students complete a study at a higher education institution as a document requirement for access to the company where they work. Thus academic transcript reports become important for companies to find out if this student is competent in a certain area. In this case, accurate and valid data is certainly needed and the truth can be trusted. This qualitative research contributes to the higher education institution through a proposed blockchain technology model, especially in academic transcript records, so that the results of the proposed model ensure that data manipulation does not occur in data in academic transcript records. The results of this model will be used as design material for application design, so that the blockchain platform can be used in higher education institutions, especially when publishing valid academic transcript records that can be trusted with the data.","PeriodicalId":345203,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conferences on Information System and Technology","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124151545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

E-commerce machine requires a method to provide fit product information to customer called recommender system. The most of popular recommender system adopted for many large e-commerce companies named Collaborative filtering (CF) due to obtain relevant, fit and essential product information. Even though CF owned some benefit, it has shortcom-ing inaccurate recommendation when face minimum rating also popular named sparse data problem. Many researches have been conducted to proposed model how to generate rating prediction aim to handle sparse rating effectively. Most of them exploit latent factor model or matrix factorization (MF) to handle this problem, unfortunately, this problem fails to handle the problem when faced serious sparse data. Aims to improve the serious problem on above, several researchers involve auxiliary information in the form of product document or user demographic information respectively. Several researchers implemented Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to extract product document review incorporate MF that responsible to produce rating prediction, another model exploited Stack Denoising Auto Encoder (SDAE) model as user demographic information extraction incorporate with MF. In this research, considered implementing dual information representation using deep learning model based on SDAE and Long Shorts Term Memory (LSTM) as product review document representation combined into PMF to generate rating prediction. According to experiment report, the proposed model called SLP (SDAE+LSTM+PMF) successful to obtained effectiveness rating prediction based on RMSE evaluation metrices over some current model based on traditional PMF more than 15% in average and superior over CNN more than 0.9% in average.","PeriodicalId":345203,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conferences on Information System and Technology","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126246436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the areas of life affected is the field of trade. Currently, there are still many people who are looking for shoes manually by going around looking for shoe stores, and the results are wasting time, energy, and transportation costs. In addition, by buying manually the buyer does not know the experience of other buyers who have bought shoes with the same model. In addition, by implementing the recommendation system using the Apriori algorithm, prospective buyers can find out the experience of previous buyers. The advantage of the Apriori algorithm is simpler, more efficient, and able to handle large amounts of data than other algorithms. This study uses the waterfall model with four stages in it. The system was tested using the Apriori method to produce rules derived from the pattern of the combination of two items, rules and consequent. The results of this study are the successful search for the level of support and trust in shoes so that the shoes obtained are more accurate using data mining.","PeriodicalId":345203,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conferences on Information System and Technology","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115937668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The right to education is legally guaranteed for all children without any discrimination. Therefore, various methods have been carried out by each stakeholder, including trying to adapt multiple technologies in the learning process. Most of the information technology that enters developing countries, notably Indonesia, is still dominated by multimedia applications on mobile devices. Which not support all the development aspects of children’s potential in the learning process. Some things have not been considered, such as lack of attention related to children’s development of motor skill factors and social engagement. Through smart system technology that utilizes hardware as a part of the system as a whole, the system will include those factors that are not noticed in the learning technology that has been adopted today. This research has succeeded in producing a framework for the need to create a smart system in the learning process for Indonesian schools. Through exploratory studies, scientific studies have been carried out based on theory and direct observation of the multi-ethnic learning environment in Indonesia, so the proposed framework will undoubtedly be able to be a guideline for building a smart system.","PeriodicalId":345203,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conferences on Information System and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129666650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
