Keluaran dari GTI berupa bentuk gelombang sinusoidal yang masih belum ideal dan mempunyai nilai Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) di atas 3% serta nilai efisiensi belum mencapai 90%. Pengurangan nilai THD dan peningkatan efisiensi dapat dilakukan melalui proses kontrol switching pada inverter. Penelitian ini mengusulkan inverter dengan boost converter dua tahap, buck converter dua tahap, rangkaian switching control inverter, H-Bridge inverter dan rangkaian LC filter. Teknik switching dari inverter yang diusulkan terdiri dari kombinasi modulasi lebar pulsa sinusoida dan gelombang persegi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai THD sebesar 4,97%. Terdapat selisih sebesar 1,97% dari nilai awal perancangan. Untuk efisiensi rata-rata inverter off-grid (tidak terkoneksi dengan PLN) sebesar 89,48% dan 79,4% untuk inverter on-grid (terkoneksi dengan PLN).Kata kunci: GTI, boost converter, buck converter, switching control,grid, THD. ABSTRACTGrid Tie Inverter (GTI) is an inverter used to convert energy resulted by solar panels in the form of direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). The output of GTI is unideal sinusoidal and having Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) above 3% and efficiency below 90%. Reducing the THD value and increasing efficiency can be done through switching control process on inverters. This research proposed an inverter using two-stage boost converter, two-stage buck converter, an inverter switching control circuit, H-Bridge inverter and LC filter circuit. The switching technique of the proposed inverter system combined sinusoidal and square wave width modulation. The result showed THD of the proposed system is 4.97%, and still, there is a difference of 1.97% of the desired value. Untuk mencapai hal ini MASTS akan dikendalikan melalui metode Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) dengan state yang dipilih adalah arus, kecepatan, dan state integral galat kecepatan. Diperlukan penalaan nilai parameter Q matriks bobot state dan R matriks bobot input untuk mendapatkan performa kecepatan dan arus yang terbaik. Berdasarkan pengujian diperoleh bahwa dengan kendali LQR-I, kecepatan MASTS dapat mengikuti set point dengan respon rise time Tr = 0,03 detik, settling time Ts=0,044 detik, overshoot (OS) 1,6 %, arus Imax=0,16 A dan dutycycle sinyal kontrol umax 56% pada kondisi tanpa beban dan Tr = 0,03 detik, Ts=0,044 detik, OS 1,6 %, Imax=0,16 A dan umax 56% pada kondisi berbeban. Dibandingkan dengan kendali PID ketika tanpa beban mempunyai Tr=0,0176 Ts=0,075 %OS=3,9% umax=96% Imax=0,35 A, LQRI mempunyai respon settling time, sinyal kendali dan arus yang lebih baik.Kata kunci: Motor Arus Searah Tanpa Sikat, Kendali Optimal, Linear  Quadratic Regulator dan Integral ABSTRACTThis paper aimed to discuss further research about BLDC motor speed control so that BLDC not only has fast speed response but also has minimum control signal and current using LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator) control with chosen states are current, speed of BLDC, and speed error integral state. Tuning of Q and R matrix is required to reach the best speed and current performance. Where Q and R matrix is state cost matrix and input cost matrix, respectively. Result show that LQR-I control can track set point with rise time Tr = 0.03 s, settling time Ts=0,044 s, overshoot (OS) 1,6 %, current Imax=0,16 A and dutycycle control signal umax 56% in no load condition, and Tr = 0,03 s, Ts=0,044 s, OS 1,6 %, Imax=0,16 A dan umax 56% in the load condition. Elektrokardiogram (EKG) adalah salah satu alat yang berperan penting dalam healthcare IoT. Pasien yang mengalami kelainan jantung perlu dipantau oleh EKG dalam periode waktu lama sehingga menghasilkan data dalam jumlah yang sangat besar. Kompresi data mampu menjadi solusi masalah di atas. Penelitian ini melakukan kompresi sinyal EKG menggunakan metode parameter extraction untuk satu siklus sinyal dari dua belas pasien yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja kompresi baik, ditunjukkan oleh nilai Compression Ratio (CR) 6,24 dan Mean Square Error (MSE) 0,0018.Kata kunci: IoT, EKG, kompresi data, parameter ekstraction. ABSTRACTHealthcare IoT causing higher data communication traffic and storage. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the important device in healthcare IoT. Patient whose have heart abnormality needs ECG monitoring for long period of time, this causing a big data size. Data compression become one of the solutions for this problem. Kadar kolesterol normal harus kurang dari 200 mg/dL, namun jika di atas 240 mg/dL akan berisiko tinggi terkena penyakit stroke dan jantung koroner. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu sistem yang dapat mendeteksi kadar kolesterol seseorang melalui citra mata menggunakan metode iridologi dan image processing. Citra mata diperoleh dari pasien laboratorium klinik sebanyak 120 citra mata. Proses sistem diawali dengan mengolah citra mata dengan metode cropping, resize, dan segmentasi. Metode ekstaksi ciri menggunakan Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG), dan klasifikasi menggunakan Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Sistem dapat mendeteksi kadar kolesterol dengan tiga level klasifikasi, yaitu normal, berisiko kolesterol tinggi, dan kolesterol tinggi dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 93% dan waktu komputasi 0,0862 detik.Kata kunci: citra mata, kadar kolesterol, Histogram of Oriented Gradients, Artificial Neural Network ABSTRACTCholesterol is fat in the blood that is needed for the formation of hormones and new cells. Normal cholesterol levels should be less than 200 mg / dL, but if above 240 mg / dL will be at high risk of stroke and coronary heart disease. This study produced a system that can detect a person's cholesterol levels through eye images using iridology and image processing methods. Eye images obtained from clinical laboratory patients were 120 eye images. The system process begins with processing eye images using the method of cropping, resizing, and segmentation. Feature extraction method uses Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG), and classification using Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Salah satu cara agar CS dapat bekerja secara optimal adalah jika sinyal yang akan diolah memiliki tingkat sparsitas yang tinggi. Pada makalah ini, mengusulkan algoritma Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) sebagai metode transformasi sparsitas untuk sinyal beat radar cuaca IWarp. Sinyal beat menjadi sparse setelah direpresentasikan pada domain frekuensi, sehingga dapat mengambil sampelnya secara acak dan akhirnya mendapatkan sekumpulan sinyal sampel yang telah berukuran lebih kecil daripada sinyal beat radar awal. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan ℓ􀬵 -magic untuk melakukan rekonstruksi dari sinyal yang telah terkompresi tersebut. Simulasi numerik menunjukkan bahwa algoritma yang diusulkan berada pada performansi yang baik dengan rata-rata Peak Signal Noise to Ratio (PSNR) sebesar 15,17 dB.Kata kunci: CS, radar cuaca, sparsitas, DCT, rekonstruksi ℓ􀬵 ABSTRACTCompressive sampling (CS) is a new method that allows sampling and compression to be carried out simultaneously so that it can increase the computing time and reduce bandwidth while passed on the transmission media. One way for CS to work optimally is if the signal to be processed has a high sparsity level. In this paper we propose the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) algorithm as a sparsity transformation method for IWarp weather radar beat signals. The beat signal becomes sparse after being represented in the frequency domain, so this can randomly take samples and finally get a set of sample signals that are smaller than the initial radar beat signal. In this reasearch, use ℓ􀬵-magic to reconstruct the compressed signal. Seiring perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi, kini hadir komunikasi dengan media transmisi cahaya tampak yaitu Visible Light Communication (VLC) yang dapat diterapkan pada komunikasi bawah air. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan komunikasi suara bawah air (simplex) menggunakan VLC, dengan media akuarium berisi air dan beberapa pengujian diantaranya menggunakan color filter, didapat hasil pengujian terbaik yaitu tegangan 4,4 Vpp dan frekuensi 3,003 kHz untuk color filter yellow, pengujian menggunakan lensa didapat hasil pengujian terbaik yaitu tegangan 4,4 Vp-p dan frekuensi 3,051 kHz untuk lensa (+50), dan pengujian terakhir menggunakan lampu UV didapat hasil pengujian terbaik dengan tegangan 4,4 Vp-p dan frekuensi 3,010 kHz. Implementasi sistem VLC ini menunjukkan hasil yang baik dan layak untuk diterapkan pada komunikasi suara bawah air (simplex).Kata kunci: VLC, Komunikasi Suara Bawah Air, Simplex. ABSTRACTUnderwater voice communication systems have been known for a long time, including sonar and acoustics. Along with the development and advancement of technology, now there is communication with visible light transmission media, namely Visible Light Communication (VLC) which can be applied to underwater communication. Under this study underwater voice communication (simplex) has been carried out using VLC, with aquarium media containing water and several tests including using a color filter, the best test results obtained are voltage 4.4 Vp-p and frequency 3.003 kHz for yellow color filter, testing using the lens obtained the best test results namely voltage 4.4 Vp-p and frequency 3.051 kHz for lenses (+50), and the last test using UV lights obtained the best test results with a voltage of 4.4 Vp-p and a frequency of 3.010 kHz. Setiap tanaman memerlukan nutrisi dengan pH sesuai kebutuhannya, agar dapat tumbuh dengan baik. pH nutrisi akan berubah setiap saat, sehingga perlu sering dipantau. Terdapat kendala pada pH meter yang digunakan saat ini, misalnya perlu kalibrasi ulang jika digunakan lebih dari 24 Jam karena elektroda sensor pH rentan terhadap larutan yang diukurnya. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah pH meter cerdas yang akan digunakan untuk mengukur nutrisi tanaman. Alat ukur ini mampu digunakan secara terus menerus selama lebih dari 24 jam. Sensor pH yang digunakan adalah FIT0348 dan ATMega8 sebagai unit kontrolernya. Proses pengujian terdiri dari 4 tahap. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, disimpulkan bahwa koefisien determinasi pada rangkaian pengkondisi sinyal yang dirancang telah linier yaitu 0,9999 dengan persamaan regresi y=0,0065x+6,189. ΔpH dari pH meter yang dirancang adalah ±0,01 dengan menggunakan PH/EC-9853 sebagai alat ukur pembandingnya.Kata kunci: potensial of hydrogen, pH meter, hidroponik, nutrisi tanamanABSTRACTPotential of Hydrogen (pH) is one of the important parameters found in hydroponic plant nutrition. Every plant needs nutrients with pH according to their needs, so they can grow well. The pH of nutrients will change at any time, so it needs to be monitored frequently. There is a problem with the pH meter used today, for example, it needs recalibration if it is used more than 24 hours because the pH sensor electrode is susceptible to the solution it measures. In this study, a smart pH meter was designed to be used to measure plant nutrient. This measuring instrument can be used continuously for more than 24 hours. The pH sensor used is FIT0348 and ATMega8 as the controller unit. The testing process consists of 4 steps. Based on tests, it was concluded that the coefficient of determination in the signal conditioning circuit designed was equal to 0.9999 with the regression equation y = 0.0065x + 6.189. Biomassa jarak pagar yang ada di pulau Medang potensial untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber daya alam (SDA) lokal, untuk menggantikan minyak solar sebagai bahan bakar genset. Bahan bakar yang dapat dihasilkan dari buah jarak pagar terdiri dari straight vegetable oil (SVO), biogas dan synthetic gas (syngas). Berdasarkan data sekunder, 1 ha kebun jarak pagar dapat menghasilkan listrik 19.425 kWh/tahun menggunakan genset diesel berbahan bakar SVO ditambah 6.475 kWh/tahun menggunakan genset biogas. Dalam penelitian ini, optimalisasi sistem mikrogrid hibrida berbasis jarak pagar sudah dilakukan. Kondisi optimal untuk beban rata-rata 4.000 kWh/hari terdiri dari 1X360 kW genset SVO + 1X360 kW genset Biogas + Baterai 300 kWh + inverter-rectifier 300 kW. Hasil evaluasi memperlihatkan untuk operasi 25 tahun, sistem mikrogrid hibrida berbasis biomassa jarak pagar membutuhkan net present cost (NPC) sebesar $7.750.000 dan memberikan cost of energy (COE) $0,368/kWh.Kata kunci: genset, bioenergi, SVO, biogas, listrik ABSTRACTUtilization of diesel oil for diesel generators in the Medang island is constrained by high costs of diesel oil. The jatropha (type of biomass) in the Medang island can be used as a local natural resource (SDA), in substituting of diesel oil as a generator fuel. The type of fuel whics is produced by jatropha consist of straight vegatable oil (SVO), biogas and synthetic gas (syngas). Based on secondary data, it is found that 1 ha of Jatropha equal by produces electricity 19.425 kWh/year using an SVO diesel generator set and 6.475 kWh/year using biogas generator set. In this study, optimization of the hybrid microgrid system was carried out. The optimal conditions for an average 4,000 kWh/day of load is consisting of 1X360 kW SVO generator + 1X360 kW Biogas generator + 300 kWh + 300 kW rectifier inverter. Berikut komposisi dari pengguna internet di Indonesia: pulau Jawa, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, dan Maluku-Papua masing-masing sebesar 58,1%, 19%, 8%, 6,7%, 5,6%, dan 2,5%. Guna mengatasi masalah ini, beberapa upaya telah dilakukan untuk menyamakan akses internet di Indonesia, dan salah satu upaya yang ditawarkan adalah Project Loon. Project Loon merupakan teknologi komunikasi berdasarkan High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Penelitian terkait pengujian kelayakan Project Loon dilakukan menggunakan metode Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Operasional Project Loon di Indonesia menggunakan frekuensi 900 MHZ untuk eNodeB HAPs LTE, Diperlukan regulasi baru guna menjamin operasional Project Loon oleh operator di Indonesia, serta Area dan waktu operasional Project Loon dibatasi dengan ketentuan yang berlaku guna menghindari terjadinya resiko yang tidak diinginkan.Kata Kunci: Project Loon, HAPs, RIA, Regulasi Frekuensi ABSTRACTIn Indonesia, urban area internet users, between villages and cities, and rural areas are 72.41%, 49.5% and 48.3% respectively. The following is the composition of internet users in Indonesia: Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Maluku-Papua islands each at 58.1%, 19%, 8%, 6.7%, 5.6% and 2.5%. To overcome this problem, several efforts have been made to equalize internet access in Indonesia, and one of the efforts offered is Project Loon. Loon Project is a communication technology based on the High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Research related to the feasibility testing of Project Loon is conducted using the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) method. Setelah sistem model robot IPBD diperoleh, teknik kendali optimal dalam hal ini menggunakan linear quadratic regulator (LQR) digunakan untuk melihat step respon sistem dan tanggapan respon sistem terhadap gangguan. Sebelum kendali LQR diimplementasikan, simulasi menggunakan Simulink Matlab dilakukan untuk mendapat parameter gain K pada kendali LQR. Selanjutnya, dengan mengubah-ubah matriks pembobot Q akan diperoleh variasi gain K. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan variasi matriks pembobotan Q sebanyak lima jenis. Sedangkan matriks elemen R dituning dengan nilai satu. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa dengan membesarkan pembobotan matriks Q, dihasilkan respon menuju keadaan steady lebih cepat dan overshoot berkurang. Parameter gain K dari hasil simulasi selanjutnya akan diimplementasikan secara embedded programming ke dalam Arduino Uno pada sistem robot IPBD.Kata kunci: Inverted pendulum beroda, Pemodelan, LQR ABSTRACTThis paper describes the process of modeling two-wheeled pendulum inverted robots (IPBD) using the Lagrange dynamics. After the IPBD robot model system was obtained, the optimal control technique in this case using a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) was used to see the system response step and the response of the system response to interference. Before the LQR control is implemented, simulation using Matlab Simulink is conducted to get the gain K parameter on the LQR control. Furthermore, by varying the weighting matrix Q, the gain variation K will be obtained. There are five types of Q weighting matrix in this research and the R element matric is tuned with a value of 1. From the test, obtained results show that by raising the weighting matrix Q is produced a faster response to the steady state and overshoot is reduced.
