In this paper, we proposed a novel measurement approach for the purpose of evaluating the quality of Testing as a Service (TaaS), which is considered as one of the most recent outstanding model within cloud computing environment. (TaaS) as outstanding model include the provision of multi-sub services, such as enabling cloud customer to verify his own code through the use of cloud provider resources. Its goes without questioning that testing over web environment requires high level of resources, time, and effort. Therefore, it should take high attention toward the quality of the used testing technique. Where, the quality of testing technique associated with set of attributes that has the ability to determine testing effectiveness. Thus, in this paper we propose a measurement approach to evaluate the effectiveness of TaaS, over cloud computing environment which relies on the use of mutation score. The main contribution of the proposed model represent in the use of mutation score to evaluate cloud providers ability to perform TaaS, and rank them according to the percentage of TaaS effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116295533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Efforts have gone into optimizing communication between VMs present on the same physical server in the cloud, i.e. co-resident or co-located VMs; however, optimizing communication between VMs present on different physical servers is a separate issue. As these communicate via the TCP/IP network stack, improvements in performance or efficiency are normally proposed by customizations to the communication protocols requisite to the datacenter. We propose a mechanism to increase the average speed of inter-VM file distribution in the cloud for VMs on separate physical servers by implementing a BitTorrent-like peer-to-peer (P2P) system. The proposal, named VirtTorrent, uses direct communication between VMs in the cloud to implement a protocol similar to BitTorrent, allowing files to be distributed swiftly and with minimal network congestion. As inter-VM communication and network congestion are both important issues in the datacenter, we believe that VirtTorrent can make a marked improvement in the scenarios laid out in this paper.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128471700","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on cloud features and characteristics those are encouraging small companies that providing their E-commerce products to adopt their development into cloud computing. In order to assist the E-commerce small companies with the right way to start with the basic requirements and upgrading their computing resources as their cloud user base grows with time, herewith the E-commerce as the services model for cloud computing is proposed. The main goal of the proposed model is to integrate the E-commerce as a service enterprise and cloud computing. Cloud computing provide a number of internal services such as software as a service (SaaS), hardware as a service (HaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), data as a service (DaaS) and communication as a service (CaaS) beside an external services such as the internet service provider, IT service provider, software developer, system integration provider and hardware suppliers. The paper concluded that integrations of the internal and external services could sustain E-commerce development in cloud environment.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131233867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

WMN does not fit some application well due to latency issues and capacity related problem with paths having more than 2 hops. With the promising IEEE 802.11ac based device a better fairness for multi-hop communications are expected to support broadband application; the rate usually varies according to the link quality and network environment. Careful network planning can effectively improves the throughput and delay of the overall network. We provide model for the placement of router nodes as an optimization process to improve performance. Our aim is to propose a WMNs planning model based on multiobjective constraints like coverage, reliability, and cost of deployment. The bit rate guarantee therefore necessary to limit the number of stations connected to the access point; to takes into account delay and fairness of the network the user's behaviors are derived. Various neuro-imaging markers have been extracted from time series data using statistical and connectivity measures. Powerful data mining rules, association based techniques and classifiers are used to extract information from big datasets. The application of data mining in neuro-imaging has been explored rarely. This paper proposes a hybrid classification based ensemble learning method for mining in neuro-imaging to detect epilepsy. The paper combines various feature extraction and feature selection methods to extract discriminative statistical, evolutionary and functional connectivity features at multiple levels. The features are then presented to a hybrid classification system that utilizes ensemble learning methods to train the classifiers and the best classification result is selected based on majority voting. The extraction of bio-markers from the neuro-imaging system has been explained and the combination of feature vectors and their impact on classification accuracy has been explained. The classification accuracy results using some of the biomarkers have been very encouraging. The proposed methodology combines the linear, non-linear and probabilistic aspects of the dataset and can be extended to any neuro-imaging system for clinical diagnosis and prognosis.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126964473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For supporting DASH video transmission over residential networks with small bandwidth variation (such as DSL based network for IPTV), we design an optimal transmission schedule, L2H. Given a transmission rate and an initial delay, the schedule can optimize the QoE (quality of experience) metrics such as rebuffering, lexicographically maximal resolution, number of rate switching events, and smoothness of the rate change. We further present L2HB for considering usage of the system buffer when applying the L2H. L2HB comes up with its benefit when comparing with other research work by objective QoE evaluations. Besides, by introducing the system buffer size constraint, the proposed algorithm can control the transmission schedule to let highest-resolution segments appear as soon as possible for prompting the users to stay tuned.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123550908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increase of Cloud users and their interactions with the Cloud infrastructure raise the risk of resources faults. Such a problem can lead to a bad reputation of the Cloud environment which slows down the evolution of this technology. To address this issue, the dynamic and the complex architecture of the Cloud should be taken into account. Indeed, this architecture requires that resources protection and healing must be transparent and without external intervention. Unlike previous work, we suggest integrating the fundamental aspects of autonomic computing in the Cloud to deal with the self-healing of Cloud resources. Starting from the high degree of match between autonomic computing systems and multiagent systems, we propose to take advantage from the autonomous behaviour of agent technology to create an intelligent Cloud that supports autonomic aspects. Our proposed solution is a multi-agent system which interacts with the Cloud infrastructure to analyze the resources state and execute Checkpoint/Replication strategy or migration technique to solve the problem of failed resources.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129075428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By combining data and eliminating redundancy, this concept showed its effectiveness in terms of reducing resources consumption. The data aggregation problem is not new and has been widely studied in wireless sensor networks. However, most of the proposed solutions are based on a static data aggregation scheme and do not consider the network constraints evolution such as energy bandwidth, overhead and transmission delay. To dynamically optimize the tradeoff between the data aggregation process and the network constraints, a new paradigm has been introduced recently named the feedback control system. The main idea is to adapt the data aggregation degree to the environment changes and the sensor network applications. The feedback control for data aggregation remains relatively a new research area and only few works have introduced this concept. Therefore this work points out this research field by surveying the different existing protocols.","PeriodicalId":342210,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Internet of things and Cloud Computing","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115798082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
