The scholars examined grew up and worked within the same American educational system, resisting the biheuristic educational philosophy of the time, seeking new ideas such as learning from experience, learning through practice, establishing a direction of meaningful activity towards learning; reforming the educational system of the time. In the context of today’s relevance - inclusive education - J.S. Bruner’s ideas - active student learning, spiral learning and pastolisation are relevant and meaningful. Dewey’s school - open, democratic, allowing everyone to flourish and grow - needs to be ‘alive’, so that students learn to solve problems of their own and of society in general, which arise within and beyond the schoo’s premises. This is the point at which Luksienė’s statement about how we need to create an open person and, through him, an open culture, ties in. The openness of culture and the openness of the person is inseparable from democracy (Luksienė, 2013).\u0000\u0000Keywords: Jerome Seymour Bruner, John Dewey, active learning, experiential learning, inclusive education.

The basic curricula for basic schools were updated last time in 2008. The updating of the content of geographical education is based on the OECD guidelines and guidelines for updating the Framework Programmes (2019) and amendments thereof (2021). The content of geographical education is also updated in accordance with the provisions of the International Charter on Geographical Education (2016). Based on the main categories of geography – location, space, scale – a model of the concepts of the geographical learning structure has been developed, which best corresponds to the content of Lithuanian school geographical education and cognitive perspectives of learning. The study compared and linked the paradigms of education, geography, and geographical didactics. These paradigms are shown to be closely linked with one another and determines the changes in the content of today’s geographical education.\u0000 \u0000Keywords: general curriculum, content of geographical education, education paradigm, geographical paradigm, paradigm of geographical didactics.

One of the consequences of the effects of climate change is that more low flow periods of various intensities and durations are observed in Lithuanian rivers. The current legislation regulates the environmental flow of water as a minimum part of the 30 driest days. Environmental flow ensures only minimal conditions for the survival of aquatic ecosystems and is therefore suitable for the study of low flow conditions in the rivers. The article examines the distribution of environmental flow values (Q80%) in 1960–2019 and in separate (1960–1979, 1980–1999 and 2000–2019) periods according to continuous daily flow measurement data of 15 WGS, which represent different hydrological areas of Lithuania. This article discusses the interrelationships between the low flow periods and their dynamics in 15 WGS, examines the causes of low flow cases and distinguishes the periods with the highest number of low flow cases. The study revealed that since the 21st century cases of low flow are being recorded more frequently in Lithuanian rivers, and a significant prolongation of low flow periods is observed in many rivers during the warm season.\u0000 \u0000Keywords: Lithuanian rivers, environmental flow, climate change, low flow

While some young people are able to deal with their problems on their own and with the help of others, others are unable to deal adequately with their problems and/or are hesitant or have difficulty asking for help because of the stigma that still exists. While it is possible to observe that ‚having‘ a psychological disorder is becoming more common among young people, it must be taken just as seriously as the worst case scenario, which can lead to suicide.
