This article presents a new Moodle module for communication, coordination and collaboration, which captures and analyzes the interactions of students, to generate indicators that show the degree of manifestation of their collaboration skills, at individual and group levels. In addition, these user interfaces are usually crafted manually without any connection between the users. To address this need, a knowledge-based approach for design workflow user interfaces is defined according to the model-driven engineering principles. First, ontology is defined to represent knowledge of the organizational structure, workflow, process, and tasks. Then, a set of mapping rules is defined to specify respectively: complex and dynamic users' interaction within the organization, using workflow patterns based on high-level Petri nets; workflow models, a set of routing rules; task models, with a set of interdependencies rules for the tasks. These specifications need user interfaces to perform work and coordinate communication. User Interface generation is possible using a model-driven engineering approach, which is not limited to but uses task models as input to derive the user interfaces. The workflow specification uses task models to detail user's performance. However, from the best of our knowledge, there is little research for designing effective interfaces in the context of security management systems. Security problems for these systems include vulnerabilities, due to difficulty using the systems and poor user interfaces because of their security constraints. Nowadays, finding a good trade-off between security and usability is a challenge, mainly for user authentication services. This paper presents a preliminary process for designing secure and usable systems using a user-centered approach. According to the above, the researchers and development team could have a process for designing and carrying out security and usability solutions for users. Gesture recognition is carried out training an Artificial Neural Network, which is one of the most successful classifier in Pattern Recognition.
