A stochastic mixed-integer linear programming model is proposed to formulate the problem. Based on the uncertain constraints, the chance constrained programming approach is used to transform them into equivalent deterministic constraints and then obtain an optimal solution by deterministic mixed-integer linear programming model. Due to the complexity of problem, the mixed-integer programming (MIP) of the equivalence deterministic model of the capacitated single-stage production lot sizing problem with multiple items, setup time, stochastic demand and unrelated parallel machines is reformulated as a shortest path reformulation problem. The proposed algorithm is evaluated through a numerical example. Computational results show that the proposed method gives optimal or near optimal solution and have good-quality result for the test problem.","PeriodicalId":340270,"journal":{"name":"2017 6th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131867713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The cost of this information is associated with additional time in production, increasing the overall cost of the vehicle. The focus of this paper is development of a system for contactless measurement and investigation of vibrations present in the vehicle and the Rolling Road vehicle testing facility as a mean of identifying failures or degradation in the vehicle or testing facility. Measurements are performed using a contactless Laser Vibrometer based system which facilitates capturing the vibrations without interfering with the vehicle and other standard testing procedures. Signal conditioning and analysis methods are applied to measured vibration signals in an attempt to detect irregularities and determine their transient characteristics from the captured signals. Data analysis techniques employed in this initial trial of the system include Short Time Fourier and Wavelet Transforms. Proposed testing method including experimental setup, captured signals and some preliminary analysis results are discussed in this paper.","PeriodicalId":340270,"journal":{"name":"2017 6th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127244929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

I examine the characteristics of knowledge workers who moved from Japan to China and Korea to explore what types of knowledge workers successful firms in China and Korea select from rival companies in Japan. In addition, this study focuses on the role of the inventors' networks to investigate the significance of researcher mobility and knowledge spillovers as mechanisms that facilitate the flow of tacit knowledge. This study reveals that during the process of innovation, the mobility of knowledge workers and their informal networks play an important role. The findings suggest that successful firms do not require “star inventors” but rather people with analytical skills and problem-solving capacity.","PeriodicalId":340270,"journal":{"name":"2017 6th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"1206 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127188300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article analyses current BPM trends in a qualitative study and classifies them into three basic directions. There are technology-driven and human-driven BPM trends, both still follow the classical paradigm. However, optimization of workflows can be done bottom-up under involvement of data from IT systems or with collaboration of company employees. Different case-driven trends use the same sources for improvement but deviate from the traditional BPM paradigm in their fundamental methodical approach.","PeriodicalId":340270,"journal":{"name":"2017 6th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126965033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
