Lebaroud","doi":"10.18280/ejee.230403","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18280/ejee.230403","url":null,"abstract":"This work presents a field oriented control (FOC) strategy (Fuzzy Logic (FL)) associated with PI controller applied to the control system of an permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) powered by an inverter dedicated to electric vehicles, the major challenge of our research work is a control law for a permanent magnet synchronous motor more efficient in terms of rejection of disturbances; stability and robustness with respect to parametric uncertainties, A comparison of the performance of the proposed FOC with the FOC with the fuzzy-PI will be presented. The overall development scheme is summarized and an example illustrates features of the control approach performed on a 0.5 kW PMSM drive. The torque and the speed will be judged and compared for the two orders offered. Our goals in setting and using this strategy are, on the one hand, to induce a lower harmonic rate as compared to the SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) strategy and on the other hand, this control technique enables the inverter to deliver balanced voltages, be it in the event of load unbalance. Our design is built on the basis of the known mode of DCM control of single-phase inverters. Thus, the control of our three-phase inverter is carried out by three DCM modules whose set-points come from the direct, reverse and homopolar strings reconstructed in a Park landmark. This new strategy was tested on the MATLAB Simulink environment for a load of 160 kW. The test results show a reduced Total Harmonic Distorsion (THD) of 2.7 times compared to the THD produced by the SPWM control strategy. Besides these two, there are other sources of renewable power which are relatively less exploited. Among these, a rather unexplored field is that of animate prime movers. The current paper intends to present hardware prototype based methodology for evaluation of the potential of generatable power from an exercising animate prime mover – which in the current case is a male caprine subject. MATLAB environment has been used for an attempt to track the center of mass (COM) motion of the subject subsequent to its movement on a retrofitted treadmill. These COM motion trajectories can be used to evaluate the potential of generatable power – wherein the vertical COM motion upon the treadmill with an incline is compared with the corresponding COM motion on the machine when it is flat, and thus the power expended for vertical propulsion of the body is evaluated. This power is potentially generatable if the machine is kept flat and an energy harvesting mechanism is attached to it. The advantage of the Backstepping Strategy is the ability to manage a nonlinear system. The Lyapunov theory has been used to ensure the system stability. To improve the controller robustness proprieties the integral action is used, despite the system uncertainties and the existence of external disturbances. The unavailable rotor flux is recovered by estimation of the rotor flux of the machine based on the integration of the stator voltage expressions. The diagnosis of S700K turnout in a normal, sub-health, and fault running state is the primary premise to ensure the safe operation of the railway. Aiming at the consistency between the characteristics of the power curve of S700K turnout and its state information, this paper proposes a new algorithm based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) to extract the characteristics of the power curve of S700K turnout. It uses fuzzy clustering analysis to diagnose the running state of S700K turnout. First, to extract the detailed components of the action power curve, it is decomposed into intrinsic mode function with limited bandwidth (BIMF) by VMD. Secondly, the multi-scale permutation entropy (MPE) is used to characterize the signal complexity of the power curve and different BIMF components, which are taken as the running state feature set. After KPCA analysis, eigenvalues with a contribution rate greater than 95% are selected as the state eigenvector. The FRA technique is based on the comparison of amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency signatures of healthy cases and fault situations. The experimental results also led to the conclusion that frequency response analysis can be used as an effective tool to detect faults in power electronic devices. This method allows for efficient detection and classification of faults with ease of implementation. Firstly, the model of speed control is established by proportional integral method for Brushless DC motor with two - phase conduction and three - phase full bridge drive. Then the fitness function of the controller is constructed by the Integral Absolute Error (IAE). Finally, the early optimization process, the later movement rule and the peak extraction rule are determined for WOA, and the controller parameter tuning process is designed. Simulation results under constant and sinusoidal conditions show the effectiveness of the proposed method. WOA was compared with ZN, genetic algorithm (GA), differential evolution algorithm (DE) and particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) in the experiment. The experimental results show that the control effect (CE) of WOA under uniform speed has been improved by 2.56% on average, and has been improved by 16.93% on average under sinusoidal speed.
