The text “Ofudesaki”, written by the founder of this religion “from the words of God the Father” in 1869-1881, consists of 17 chapters and 1711 tanka poems, which vividly reflect the Japanese language of the second half of the 19th century. This makes it possible to consider “Ofudesaki” as a valuable source of spoken and literary language of this historical era, as well as the then Kansai dialect, because, despite the poetic form, this work is saturated with colloquial vocabulary and dialectal expressions. Thus, the subject of research is the graphic, phonetic, lexical and syntactic features of “Ofudesaki” text, which reflect not only the idiolect of the author of this sacred work, but also give good reason to make assumptions about the intentional pastiche of this text by Nakayama Miki at almost all language levels. The methods of semantic, grammatical, etymological analysis, as well as historical and descriptive ones are used in the work. One of the main results and substantiated by specific examples study findings is the hypothesis put forward by the author of the article that the convergence of Japanese spoken language with literary language was bidirectional. Not only the language of fiction actively influenced the normative base of the national language through the education system, but also the spoken element had a significant impact on the then Japanese language, “eroding” the limits defined by the literary tradition: changing the pronunciation of words, lexical composition, grammar rules, stylistic norms, and so on.","PeriodicalId":33930,"journal":{"name":"Zapiski z ukrayins''kogo movoznavstva","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45482169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article is dedicated to a topical issue: the study of the Ukrainian language in a foreign language environment based on local lore texts about Christmas and Easter; the focus is made on the role of songs and colloquialisms that help students adapt to the country of residence and its realities. Approaches to work with New Year's songs (\"Shchedryk\") and lyrical songs (\"Hutsulka Ksenia\") are demonstrated. A number of methodical developments on e-platforms are proposed: open4ukrainian.education/gutsulka-ksenya/; http://bit.ly/rizdvyani-pisni-kolyadki, the advantages of working with online tools are proved: Wizer.me (https://wizer.me/), Learningapps (https://learningapps.org). The objective of the article is to analyze the country study material; to draw the attention of the scientific and pedagogical community to the need of selecting texts and didactic materials with consideration of the feasibility and practical application of information and the development of communicative competence; to prove the relevance of a variety of tasks and examples; to share the experience of teaching foreigners the Ukrainian language. The ideas presented in the article are illustrated by examples taken from the experience of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language at Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University. Current studies and publications are thoroughly analyzed. The focus is on hermeneutic, communicative, personaloriented, cultural, level methods, the importance of visualization of pre-text and post-text exercises, various questions, descriptive interpretation of rare vocabulary, extended vocabulary. The methodological basis of this study is the work of Anna Shvets. During the discussion of texts about traditions, holidays, events, etc., focuses were made on the appropriateness of asking questions, as questions help not only assess students and find out how well they understand the material, but also help them develop their speech. In addition, the role of post-text comments is traced. The aspect analyzed and described in the article is the content of texts that promote Ukraine in the world, contribute to the formation of linguistic knowledge about Ukraine, help foreign students adapt to the language environment. The purpose of this article is to identify the features of the intonation organization of the texts of oral English sermons and court speeches. The object of study is preaching and trial discourses as a special kind of institutional discourse of persuasive type. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of the intonation organization of oral English sermons and court speeches. To achieve this goal, a phonetic study of the perceived prosodic characteristics of speech realizations of sermons and court speeches was conducted, in the process of which the method of scientific observation (subjective) was used, which contains audit and audit analysis of selected objects and identification of the phonological status of the studied units; quantitative analysis made it possible to interpret the data obtained empirically during the audit analysis. On the basis of the conducted audit analysis it is possible to draw certain conclusions concerning the intonation organization common for the researched discourses. The auditors' identification of parts of the researched sermons and court speeches proved the validity of their division into the compositional parts mentioned above and made it possible to conclude that there are certain linguistic factors that allow to identify parts of the text with high probability. The leading intonation parameter to enhance the persuasive effect of speeches was the tempo. The melodic component of intonation, namely the melodic contour, has also proved to be a powerful intonation tool for influencing and achieving a persuasive effect, while volume is not an important intonation parameter involved in persuasion. The perspective of the research is seen in conducting a comprehensive instrumentalphonetic study to verify the data obtained on the prosodic organization of persuasive statements in preaching and trial discourses.","PeriodicalId":33930,"journal":{"name":"Zapiski z ukrayins''kogo movoznavstva","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68269940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the survey is to prove orthoepic normativity and historical organicity on the basis of opinion polls, to indicate pronunciation problems and deviations, to determine the percentage of pronunciation of consonant norms depending on the respondents’ sphere of activity, region of Ukraine (North, South, West, East, Central). The object of the research is Ukrainian speech of students of Philological Departments in Ukraine. The subject is knowledge of orthoepic rules of modern Ukrainian, in particular orthoepy of consonants (pronunciation of voiced and voiceless consonants, [в] as [ў], [з] as a part of prefixes роз-, без, prefixes з-, об-, над-, під -, від-, аffricates [д з], [д ж]). The proposed work integrates general scientific and special research methods: analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction, observation; taxonomy; quantitative analysis, descriptive, comparative and historical methods, method of linguistic geography; field research methods: oral examination and sociolinguistic analysis; auditory analysis. They allowed to identify orthoepic features and general characteristics of Ukrainian oral speech which were subjectively perceived. Thus, the research conducted in Ukraine allows us to call stable such orthoepic norms of consonants pronunciation as the pronunciation of the merged [д зᶦ] in the word дзвінок (followed by 100% of respondents), the pronunciation [г] as [x] in the word легкий (90%), pronunciation of prefixes роз- (100%), без- (100%) in words розписати, безпека. Pronunciation norms were developed quite clearly in the second half of the XIX century and are recorded in manuscripts and first editions written in phonetic spelling. The formation of orthoepic norms was influenced by traditional spelling and folk speech. We see the prospect of further research in the study of orthoepic deviations of the regional speech of young people, in particular in the pronunciation of sound combinations.","PeriodicalId":33930,"journal":{"name":"Zapiski z ukrayins''kogo movoznavstva","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68270141","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Садова","doi":"10.18524/2414-0627.2020.27.206492","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18524/2414-0627.2020.27.206492","url":null,"abstract":"The article is devoted to the functional-semantic analysis of the group of terms of kinship in poetic discourse. A broad approach to understanding the terms of kinship as an open, formally and functionally open lexical-semantic system has been presented. The purpose of the article is to determine the system of family relations in the poetic discourse on the material of the modern Mykolaiv author A. Surov’s works. Achieving this goal necessitates the solution of a number of tasks: 1) to objectify lexical means of expressing kinship in poetic discourse; 2) to make a semantic interpretation of the terms of kinship in A. Surov’s poetic speech; 3) to identify syntagmatic and paradigmatic connections of words that explain the kinship in the texts; 4) to analyse the ways of poetic images formation with the help of terms of kinship. The object of the research is fragments of poetic discourse that contain explicators of kinship; the subject of the research is the semantic features of the terms of kinship in A. Surov’s poetic speech. All published works of the author, having about three hundred uses of words containing \"kinship\" seme, have been analysed. The study of words with the semantics of kinship is carried out according to the method of complex semantic description, which involves the use of systematic contextual analysis, which takes into account the syntagmatic and paradigmatic relationships of words in the text. Descriptive and statistical methods have also been used during the material collection and processing. The discourse analysis showed that the terms of blood kinship are used in A. Surov’s poetic speech much more often than the terms of kinship formed as a result of marriage. The author uses mainly the terms of blood relationship in neighbouring generations (father – mother, son – daughter), in one generation (brother – sister) and across generations (grandmother – grandfather, grandchildren) and the terms of kinship formed as a result of marriage (husband – wife, groom – bride). The coincidence of convertible pairs in one poetic text is natural for A. Surov's poetic language. Terms of kinship acquire connotative semes due to the combination with words expressing evaluation, when using forms with reduced-loving suffixes synochek (sonny), dochka, dochenka (daughter), dedushka (grandfather), babulia (granny) and spatial forms of mam (mom), mamka (mummy), batka (dad), bratan (brother), bratukha ( brother). The leading ways of figurative meaning formation are the use of terms of kinship in comparisons (And the wind smelled like a bride's skirt), set expressions (I am a northern snow lost son) and in addresses (All your emerald deposits, father of the Urals!). Peculiar is the use of terms of kinship as a conversion pair, which do not have a correlation in the language system (grandmother – children, mother – grandfather, etc.): And my grandmother in the Warsaw ghetto / Under a black skirt hid children. The system of family relations is the most","PeriodicalId":33930,"journal":{"name":"Zapiski z ukrayins''kogo movoznavstva","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68269801","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
