The question is not whether the Arabic grammar is a particular grammatical system that has been seized, but the question is, did the Arabs reach the basic linguistic concepts based on the foundations of thinking that they followed by correct data in the form of grammar in the absence of any external influence? As for the Orientalists’ statement that the Arabic language existed after the mission of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (pbuh), it is a contradictory statement. Rather, this language existed before the dawn of Islam in the form of dialects used since ancient times in Mesopotamia. These evidences will be of outstanding importance and perhaps a critical contribution to the historical study of the Arabic language and its development. The research discovered some evidence for an exception from being affected by other cultures, including: analogy in the verses of the Noble Qur’an, prose, Arabic poetry and some examples from some translators’ books and inference with some models of the ancient language and its drawings to be evidence that what was developed from the Arabic language and its rules were the innovation of the Arabs and not from others. It follows the historical linguistic analytical method. Kekaburan struktur yang juga dikenali dalam bahasa Arab sebagai الغموض النحوي (structural ambiguity) sebenarnya turut terjadi kepada i’rab. Hal ini secara tidak langsung memberi input pandangan yang tepat terhadap fenomena i’rab yang sudah menjadi polemik sejak pertengahan abad ke-20. Berdasarkan teori Khulasah Tammam Hassan, kajian ini cuba memahami kekaburan struktur yang terjadi kepada i’rab di samping unsur-unsur bahasa yang lain untuk melihat bagaimana i’rab berfungsi memberi pencerahan makna kepada ayat bahasa Arab. Pengumpulan data dan analisis sumber kajian dibuat berdasarkan korpus yang berwibawa. Hasil penelitian subjek telah mengkategorikan korpus bahasa kepada tiga kategori iaitu: 1) gaya yang tidak memerlukan i’rab kerana struktur yang jelas, 2) gaya yang memerlukan i’rab kerana struktur yang kurang jelas, 3) gaya yang tetap kabur meskipun dengan unsur i’rab. Keputusan kajian menyimpulkan, banyak bait syair dan ayat Arab sebenarnya yang tidak memerlukan i’rab kerana strukturnya yang sudah jelas. Walau bagaimanapun, dalam sebilangan keadaan, i’rab memainkan peranan penting seperti dalam konteks perbezaan makna relatif dan mutlak melalui واو المعية dan واو العطف juga perbezaan ayat penyata dengan ekpresif berdasarkan isu كم الخبرية/التعجبية dan كم الاستفهامية. Namun, keadaannya berbeza apabila melihat kepada ayat Yunus: 71 yang gagal dimaknai oleh i’rab kerana kedua-dua makna yang saling berbeza mengandungi kekaburan yang dipercayai berpunca daripada struktur. Nominal sentence consists of a noun and a noun while actual sentence consists of a verb and a noun and each of these two sentences has rules, patters, purposes, and meanings. This research will study the two sentences in Dr. Dāwūd ‘Abd al-Bāqī Muḥammad’s poem entitled (The Structural level in the Poem “Africa Is Our Land” by Dāwūd ‘Abd al-Bāqī – A Grammatical Semantic Study). The study aims to reveal what the poem was restricted to among the special structural rules and grammatical patters. This research consists of an introduction containing aims, objectives, problem, and plan of the study, and a preface containing the introduction of the poet and presentation of the poem, and two chapters; the first chapter is nominal sentence, and the second chapter is actual sentence, followed by a conclusion containing the most important results and recommendations. The researcher used descriptive analytical method in the study. Suara pelarian Syria dilihat sebagai sumber utama intertekstualiti dalam al-Jazeera kerana al-Jazeera sering memetik suara golongan ini dalam laporannya, terutama dalam laporan mengenai kesusahan yang dialami pelarian. Kajian kualitatif ini merupakan kajian analisis kandungan yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana laman berita al-Jazeera menggunakan unsur teks luar dalam wacana berita pelarian Syria dan tujuan teks luar ini digunakan. Setiap data dibaca dan diteliti isi kandungannya bagi mengenal pasti petikan suara pelarian yang digunakan. Analisis data dalam kajian ini dilaksanakan mengikut pendekatan Model Tiga Dimensi Analisis Wacana Kritis yang dipelopori oleh Norman Fairclough. Kajian ini tertumpu kepada analisis amalan diskursif yang melibatkan analisis bagaimana pembinaan sesuatu teks dibuat menggunakan unsur teks luar. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan al-Jazeera seringkali menggunakan suara pelarian sebagai unsur teks luar secara petikan secara langsung. Petikan secara langsung ini menunjukkan kepentingan golongan pelarian sebagai subjek ideal terhadap isu yang dibincangkan. Perkara ini dengan jelas dipaparkan melalui cerita-cerita kesengsaraan pelarian daripada perspektif pelarian itu sendiri apabila menggunakan suara mereka dalam laporan berita. Hal ini secara tidak langsung membina ruang antara golongan pelarian dengan golongan tuan rumah dan masyarakat luar. Perkara ini telah menjadikan pelarian dilihat sebagai kumpulan sosial yang lemah dan pasif, sebagai mangsa dan pada masa yang sama sebagai golongan yang memberi ancaman kepada keselamatan dan kebajikan negara tuan rumah. My method in response was influenced by the approach of the Egyptian critic Dr. Mustafa Nassef in his book \"A Second Reading of Our Old Poetry\", where he made the structure of Arabic poetry a complex subject that requires a thorough analytical reading, in a medical sense, in order to dive into the body of the studied material and extracts its deep secrets and psychological facts instead of the superficial anatomical reading influenced by the Impressionism, which in his view and ours is an outdated reading. As for the goal of the research, it is to fathom out the secrets of the subject's rhetoric in the Great Quran, by defending its miraculous language from the insults of the ignorants and the appeals of haters who are unaware of its purposes. He concluded that it is necessary to confront the misconceptions of the invalidators with a sober scientific approach and a sound critical lesson. The writer is the son of his environment, affected by it and affects it, and we cannot understand any literature unless we put it in its societal and historical context. It was necessary for the rural environment in which Rain grew up with its simplicity and diversity, and Egypt and the successive major events that it witnessed to cast a shadow on the poet, polish his poetry and sharpen his ideas. The study also aims to identify the most important effective influences in his poetry: poverty, his position on authority, alienation and imprisonment. These influences reflected the nature of political, social, intellectual and cultural life during the historical period in which the poet Muhammad Afifi Maṭar lived. The study relied on more than one method to achieve the desired results. It adopted the historical method in introducing the poet, his life and the most important events he lived through. And the descriptive analytical method to study the effective influences in his poetry by describing and analysing them through models of his poetry. The study reached several results, including: Poet Muhammad Afifi Maṭar was affected by the Egyptian village life, including its customs, traditions and beliefs. He portrayed with great depth and sincerity the suffering of the people of his village from poverty and need. Al-Sharqi","doi":"10.22452/aldad.vol5no1.2","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22452/aldad.vol5no1.2","url":null,"abstract":"The American novelist, Don DeLillo, wrote the novel, Mao II (1991), which uses selfhood and identity to foreground the modern/postmodern vision of human nature as a tabula rasa that is constructed by language, society, and culture. This study argues that while the novel’s protagonist, Bill Gray, represents DeLillo’s modernist tendencies, as the character desires to maintain authentic individualism during a fierce struggle with his culture’s collective mindlessness, DeLillo also describes an ambiguous character, whose life and works complexly exhibit and engage with postmodernist features. Jeffry Nealon’s approach to post-postmodernist literature and post-humanist scholarship are utilized in this analysis to provide a clearer understanding on the convergence of these components. Gray is examined as a manifestation of post-postmodernist tendencies, who ultimately reflects the emerging role of embodiment in contemporary cultural discourse. It seeks to explore the syntactic features that distinguish masculinization and feminization; and their reflections on old Arabic dialects and Qur’anic modes of recitation. Moreover, the study examines the social dimension of the phenomenon of masculinization and feminization, and the effect of the linguistic gender on the Arabic sentence structure. Using the descriptive approach, the syntactic theory confirms that a significant distinction exists between the masculine and feminine references in many syntactic categories such as demonstratives, relative pronouns and verbal predicates. Grammarians’ perception of masculinization as a source, and feminization as a subdivision is firmly rooted in the Arabic culture; emanating from the belief that the masculine is the original creature. Grammarians, therefore, posit that the masculine does not need markers, unlike the feminine. Qur’anic modes of recitation differed in dealing with this phenomenon depending on the reference of the pronoun.
