These problems suggest that factors affecting ITV and online learning need to be analyzed. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship among learning factors, such as computer proficiency, technology acceptance, class interaction, attitude, class satisfaction, technology satisfaction, and learning styles. However, it encounters two serious problems. First, some successful attacks can be easily developed to destroy watermark once the embedding algorithm of watermarking is made public. Secondly, we can not identify who the real owner is if multiple watermarks are embedded in an image. In this paper, a robust copyright protection scheme for digital images that combines image feature extraction and time stamp technique is proposed. Our scheme can resist both geometric distortion and signal processing attacks, and can distinguish who the real owner is when multiple watermarks are embedded in the image. It is not easy for a user to retrieve the exact information he/she requires. In particular, browsing a Web set is an expensive operation, both in time and cognitive effort. Recommender systems have then become valuable resources for users seeking intelligent ways to search through the enormous volume of information available to them. In this paper we propose a new framework based on Web logs mining for building a personalized recommender system. At the core of personalization is the task of building a profile of the user. We have developed an approach that user's information learned from user's Web logs data to construct accurate comprehensive individual profiles. One part of this profile contains facts about a user, and the other part contains rules describing that user's behavior. There are techniques proposed recently to process the query tree as a whole using a chain of linked stacks at tree nodes to verify partial results. The idea is to exploit pre-built indices on participating elements to quickly skip mismatches among element instances. However, instances-based skipping requires multiple traversals from index tree root to leaf pages. The capability of expediting query execution is very limited. In this paper, we propose a novel index structure to allow skipping groups of unqualified elements in entirety. Every index page is accessed at most once regardless of join selectivities. In the sequel, our solution requires minimal I/O cost and thus significantly reduces overall execution time. An effective location-based data visualization system can significantly enhance the communication among decision-makers and facilitate the agreement on the most appropriate alternatives. This study presents SmartGIS, a tool integrating SVG, Web GIS, and data visualization techniques to augment the analytical capabilities of GIS-based spatial and temporal decision-making process. It provides an intuitive, interactive manipulation of SVG-based SARS map, dynamically generated from GIS database. SmartGIS provides hierarchical operations to allow a user to view SARS data at multiple levels of details on the Web. This facilitates the continuously visualizing and monitoring of SARS outbreak status. Hence, several multi-channel MAC protocols for MANETs have been proposed and investigated. In this work, we propose a dedicated channel for streaming services (DCSS) scheme for streaming services in multi-channel MANETs. A new dedicated channel is assigned for heavy traffic or streaming services. In addition, system performance and the impact of the DCSS scheme on non-streaming services are thoroughly investigated. According to the simulation results, the DCSS scheme was found to greatly improve the performance of the network, including streaming and non-streaming services. The impact of the DCSS scheme on non-streaming services is also acceptable. With the development of Internet and the rapid advancement of information technology, a new knowledge transfer model has been developed: books and other forms of digitized data provide readers with the most convenient methods to search for and obtain library content. We propose a global digital library grid concept. This digital library organization is not only to include new members (new libraries or new museums) flexibility, but also not to affect the system and framework of the original grid member. Quasi-circuit switching is between packet switching and circuit switching. In a quasi-circuit switched network, time is partitioned into frames. Quasi-circuit switches then ensure that for any two packets with the same input and output links, the difference between the frames, in which they arrive, is the same as that of the frames, in which they depart. By so doing, traffic can be isolated between frames and be multiplexed within a frame. By adopting this model, NPOs will be able to clearly re-examine their Web site operations and select more suitable information and mechanisms to provide on their Web sites. It was also suggested in our model to take advantage of standardized interfaces and mechanisms (such as open standards and reusable components) for achieving the goal of efficiently and effectively constructing and operating NPO Web sites. In addition, for the purpose of verification, and under an unexpected time constrain, we quickly developed a Web site prototype fully based on our model, and submitted it to a charity-related contest. During a relatively short five-day period, we were able to succeed with a \"second highest votes\" ranked result, which surprisingly showed us the potentials and feasibility of this model. In addition, we propose an algorithm that employs neural network training process to accomplish the detection. The features used in the neural network process include motion features and texture features. In addition, we also take temporal information into account for determining fast-pan events.
