Socio-communicative and system-structural approaches were applied, which made it possible to determine the directions and functions of communication links in the system of gradual library and information education, to prove the importance of strengthening the communication interaction in the “higher education institution — employer”, “student of higher education — employer”, “graduate of a higher education institution — employer” subsystems. Based on the application of sociological research methods (questionnaires and surveys, monitoring of the employment of graduates), the necessity of establishing comprehensive relations in the “student of higher library education program — employer-director of the library” system has been proved in order to form the general and professional competencies in applicants that are in demand at the labor market. \u0000The results. Based on the analysis of the modern pedagogical idea and the own years-long teaching experience, the issue of building an effective cooperation between higher education institutions and employers was considered for the first time. Emphasis is placed on the translation of “student-teacher” academic communication into future professional relations of “graduate — employer”. A systematic approach to the organization of communication interaction between the graduate departments of KSAC in the specialty 029 “Information, library and archival affairs” and employers is highlighted, which involves various formats, methods, ways and technologies of communication interaction of all stakeholders in the quality training of library personnel (students of higher library education, scientific — pedagogical staff, graduates, heads of library institutions), aimed at the requirements of the modern labor market. Based on the results of a survey within the directors of libraries of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, the qualities of graduates of KSAC prioritized by employers were determined, and their rating was the following: professional knowledge (89%), mastery of modern ICT (87%), reader orientation (56%), sociability (55%), creativity (46%), responsibility and reliability (35%), leadership (34%), organizational skills (32%), speech culture (26%), appearance (21%). The effectiveness of the implementation of employment monitoring, involvement of employers into teaching, review of educational programs and qualification works of students, participation in final assessment, has been proven. \u0000The scientific topicality. The priority of information confrontation in the postmodern era is to change the mentality of the nation and the deformation of national memory patterns, which is clearly reflected in the events of Russian-Ukrainian war. Complex transformation processes in the development of the modern library system, the problem of determining its role and place in the protection of national cultural heritage, resisting attempts to purposefully instill hostile cultural values in the Ukrainian state in the context of integrated use of information warfare are given in conditions of the consciental war. \u0000The purpose of our scientific research is to reveal the essence of the socio-cultural dimension of consciental war (war for consciousness) in its constituents. This is archeological warfare and the falsification of history. Reveal and identify the potential for library, archival and museum systems functioning in the context of consciental war (war for consciousness) in the conditions of the Russian Federation armed aggression against Ukraine. \u0000The methodology. The author’s vision of the problem is based on the main principles of science: scientificity and objectivity. A systematic approach to determining the functionality of libraries enabled to establish the content and prospects of transformation processes of the modern library, archival and museum systems in the consciental war (war for consciousness) and to determine its effectiveness in terms of performing tasks of effective armed and information confrontation. \u0000The results. It is proved that the archival, library and museum systems, as a traditional collector and translator in the time and space of documented knowledge, the guardian of the national cultural heritage becomes the object of influence and manipulation in the terms of consciental war (war for consciousness). At the same time, they can and should be an effective tool for information and psychological confrontation. Modern Ukrainian society is changing as a result of irreversible demographic, intellectual and cultural losses. The tasks of reconstruction and development of the country cause new challenges for the educational, scientific and industrial sectors. Resistance to Russian expansion requires innovations in information activities too. The transformation of the public role of library institutions is observed. There is a need to transform libraries into modern socio-cultural institutions that fully meet today’s requirements of a society. The key to successful changes in the library industry is the improvement of its staffing and effective innovative management. This, in turn, requires a thorough analysis of the national and global experience of librarians. \u0000The purpose of the research is to study the curricula on book studies, bibliography and librarianship, which were used in Librarianship higher course for librarians at the Warsaw Public Library. \u0000The methodology of this study is based on a complex approach, that combines both general scientific and problem-specific methods. Among them there are methods of systematization, data processing, terminological analysis, generalization, as well as logical, descriptive, historical-genetic, and retrospective ones. \u0000The results. The curricula on book studies, bibliography and librarianship, used in Librarianship higher course for librarians at the Warsaw Public Library, are concluded according to a single principle. Each course contains a curriculum and a thorough list of literary sources, as well as methodological recommendations on the scientific organization of work, ergonomics, etc. The curricula are divided into content modules and thematic blocks. The authors assume that mastering the proposed curricula was a sufficient basis for the successful professional implementation of the course graduate. \u0000The scientific novelty of the study lies in a comprehensive study of the dynamics of the library field development and the librarians training experience with the aim of borrowing the best elements of it into the modern educational process and abandoning unsuccessful methods. \u0000The practical significance lies in the attempt to focus attention on the training curricula for librarians at the Warsaw Public Library, developed by scientists of the Ukrainian diaspora, who in the period of the 20-30s of the XX century were the leaders of the library industry, since in the Soviet Union bibliography, like a number of similar educational courses, were in decline. \u0000Conclusions. The analyzed brochure, despite its small volume, is quite informative. In this sense, important thing is scientific and practical substantiation of topical issues of bibliography and bibliographic processes on the pages of professional periodicals, which are powerful means of generating and disseminating new knowledge in social and professional communication. An important place in the collection is given to bibliographic issues, among which there are publications of theoretical and practical content, and with the help of their analysis the dynamics of modern bibliographic science in Ukraine can be traced. \u0000The purpose is to perform content analysis of publications on bibliographic topics published on the pages of the leading professional publication “Visnyk of Kharkiv State Academy of Culture” to study leading directions in the development of bibliographic studies. \u0000The methodology of the research consists in the use of methods of content analysis, generalization and bibliographic method. \u0000The results. Content analysis, conducted on publications published in the journal, showed, that 5% of articles are devoted to the theory of bibliography, and bibliography and practical bibliographic activities, and 95% are devoted to library science. \u0000The scientific novelty of the article consists in summarizing the thematic characteristics and main directions of research on bibliographic topics on the pages of professional collection over the past 14 years. \u0000The practical significance. There were used historical-genetic and systemic-structural approaches. It made it possible to establish the main stages periodization of the higher education levels in Library Studies’ origin and development in the leading countries of Latin America. The study proved the influence of North American and European traditions on the development of the training of highly qualified library personnel system in the founding countries of graduate library education on the continent. A comparative and content analysis of the bachelor’s, master’s and Doctoral Degrees’ educational programs in the specialty “Library and Information Sciences” provided by leading universities in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, made it possible to determine the general and specific aspects of the specialists training for the information industry, to establish the peculiarities of cognitive and institutional components of bachelor’s and master’s educational programs, justify the objective necessity of strengthening their interdisciplinarity and flexibility. \u0000The results. It has been established that Argentina was the first among Latin American countries to establish a training school for librarians in the structure of the Philosophy and Literature Faculty of the University of Buenos Aires back in 1922. In the 1940s and 1950s, universities opened Library Studies (Schools) in Panama (1941), Brazil (1942), Peru (1943), Uruguay (1943), Mexico (1945, 1956), Chile (1949), Costa Rica (1950) and Colombia (1956). The system of post-graduate library education began to take shape in the 1970s, when in 1972 the first post-graduate program in the field of “Library and Information Science” was opened in Brazil at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo, and in 1980 — the doctoral program as well. Currently, in the countries of Latin America, only the leading metropolitan universities have educational programs of master’s and Doctoral levels. It is due to the low scientific qualification of graduate departments and the insufficient number of professors who can carry out qualified supervision of master’s and Doctoral thesis research. \u0000The current state of the library and information education system development on the Latin American continent is demonstrated by the following statistics: Brazil has 47 universities with their structure including schools or departments for the library specialists training, Argentina has 16 of such universities, Mexico — 13, Colombia — 6, Chile — 4, Cuba — 3, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Peru, Venezuela — 2 universities each, Bolivia, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, Jamaica — 1 university each. \u0000The scientific topicality. It was demonstrated that the storage problem of library collections, both traditional and non-traditional, is relevant, since all documents, when saved and used, eventually become unsuitable for further use. The damage to documents can be caused by: chemical instability of materials, poor environmental conditions, poor preservation, unsatisfactory handling of documents, emergencies, vandalism. It was demonstrated that both traditional and new methods are used to reduce the effect of these causes, among which the use of new materials, non-damaging fire extinguishing systems and document digitization technologies are highlighted. However, traditionally insufficient funding limits the implementation of these methods. \u0000The scientific novelty. The methodology of the article is based on the application of the principles of systematicity and objectivity of scientific knowledge. Institutional and socio-communication approaches were used. The application of methods of comparative and logical analysis, generalization and synthesis made it possible to successfully realize the set goal. \u0000The results.
