An extended contract-net negotiation model based on task coalition and genetic algorithm is presented after analyzing the advantage and disadvantage of the classical contract-net negotiation model. Formalized definition method and coalition generation algorithm are given. A specialized genetic algorithm, which is optimized by optimized initial colony selection, optimized parent crossover/mutation and the using of Metropolis rule, is used to solve the task allocation in the coalition. The algorithm improves the efficiency of task allocation and reduces the communication cost. By testing and analyzing an example of a missile defense system, it is proved that the model can reduce the negotiation cost effectively contrast with the classical contract-net model on the basis of ensuring the negotiation quality.","PeriodicalId":337433,"journal":{"name":"2007 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"115 18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-01-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126371264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed two stage hybrid algorithm use the direct data domain approach as the first stage to suppress discrete interference in the range cell under test and use STMB method as the second stage to suppress the residue correlated interference. Therefore this approach takes advantage of the DDD and STMB method and alleviates their drawback, so it can suppress discrete interference and correlated interference simultaneously.","PeriodicalId":337433,"journal":{"name":"2007 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"132 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122765276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fault detection is the first step of fault detection, so this paper focuses on fault detection, and puts forward a fault detection mechanism, which is based on the theories of artificial neural network and probability change point analysis rather than static service description, to detect the services that fail to satisfy performance requirements at runtime. To overcome above disadvantages, this paper proposes two new methods based on cloud models. One is to retrieve efficiently uncertain concepts, which can change the granularity of retrieval information. By this method it remarkably improves the recall and precision of information retrieval. Another is to evaluate efficiently retrieval algorithm, which can reflect not only average performance of an algorithm but also stability and randomicity. These two methods set up a transform of qualitative concepts and quantity. This kind of transform is carried out through strict mathematic means. Experimental data showed the method is practical. Results of evaluation will be more accurate and approach to the fact better.","PeriodicalId":337433,"journal":{"name":"2007 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123074520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The principle of the adjusting speed of local fan versus the gas concentration is analyzed, the control strategy used the three gas concentration signals and the air speed as input variables for the multi-input fuzzy controller, the output of which can change the frequency of converter in order to determine the speed of local fan, is discussed, the design method with the TMS320LF240DSP chip as its control core is also described, which enhances robustness of the whole system, and realizes the fuzzy control of the gas concentration by means of the adjustable velocity of mine local fan. The experiment results indicate that the suggested method has not only realized the normal ventilation and safe gas drainage in the driving work space, but also saved the power energy.","PeriodicalId":337433,"journal":{"name":"2007 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121821841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
