The ability to modify the microstructure and properties of the weld and surface through the control of processing parameters is a key advantage of FSW/FSP. This has led to a great deal of research on understanding the microstructural evolution during FSW/FSP. One important aspect of microstructural control in FSW/P is the development of grain structures and textures. The high strain rates and temperatures during FSW/P can lead to dynamic recrystallization and the formation of refined and homogeneous grain structures. The degree of grain refinement and texture development can be controlled through the selection of processing parameters such as tool geometry, rotation speed, traverse speed, and applied pressure. Another important aspect of microstructural control in FSW/P is the formation of phases, phase transformations, and precipitation. The ability to control grain structures, phases, and IMCs, as well as the potential for local refinement and the formation of MMCs, makes FSW/P an attractive option for a wide range of applications. Continued research and development will be critical for further advancing the capabilities and potential of FSW/P.","PeriodicalId":337324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Engineering and Innovation","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126501926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four locations spread over Pondicherry area are selected at random for study. The monthly average values of the selected factors from the year 2000 to 2020 are considered to develop the models. Both multiple regression and neural network are validated with the market price for the upcoming years 2019 and 2020. After validation the models are used to forecast the land price in Pondicherry area for the years between 2021 and 2024. Both the models are found to be well fit for the modeling of land price, however the model using Regression shows better accuracy. A careful examination of the result of forecasting brings to the lime light the surge in growth of land prices in the peak places of Pondicherry.","PeriodicalId":337324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Engineering and Innovation","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133979451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mammography and ultrasound are used as radiological methods for the early detection of breast cancer in women. Generally, Breast Cancer Detection is done subjectively by expert Radiologists. Still, the radiologist has high inter-observer variability as it is challenging to detect breast cancer tumors in high-density breasts. Many Computers Aided Diagnosis (CAD) systems developed in the past, but accuracy and precision are not up to the mark and are not used in clinical practice. The histopathologist is not well-trained, so it leads to incorrect analysis. With image processing and machine learning, there is an interest in changing dependable pattern acknowledgment-based systems to improve the excellence of diagnosis. Still, there is continuous social demand to design and develop a CAD system for Breast Cancer Detection, which will assist radiologists in making accurate decisions as a second opinion. This paper will use the deep learning model to address the above-discussed issue to efficiently assist in the automatic Breast Cancer Detection for clinical practice. The objective is to analyze existing algorithms and study different pre-processing classification algorithms for mammographic breast cancer classification compared with the state-of-the art methods reported in the literature survey section.","PeriodicalId":337324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Engineering and Innovation","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133050626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this process, there is no need to make the workpieces melt and the heat is supplied by the friction behavior between the tool and work pieces. Both rotating and pressure are applied to the weld line by the tool to make the region softer and then to mix the material and forge them together [1–3]. Many researchers worked on welding of different metals and their alloys by the friction stir and reported their findings. One of the investigations is carried with the effective use of response surface methodology central composite experimental design to prepare AA 6061-T4 aluminium alloy friction stir welded specimens. The process parameters are considered for the welding are axial force, rotational speed and weld travel speed. The experimental model is developed to predict tensile strength of the weld joint and optimum condition is mentioned as 78 mm/min rotational speed, 7.2 kN axial force at 95% confidence limit [4]. Aluminium alloys grades, AA2014 and AA6061 is attempted to friction weld and effect of various process parameters on mechanical properties are experimental investigated. Response surface technique is used to design and analyze the effects of process parameters on mechanical properties statistically [5]. Traditional landfills, fireworks, composting and solid waste management are commonly used as waste disposal techniques. Traditionally, compost and anaerobic digestion (AD) is the most widely used technology for the processing and use of the organic component of MSW. The quantity of Organic solid waste products worldwide increases dramatically every year. Most of the Organic solid waste products consist of agricultural waste, household food waste, human and animal waste, and so on. Abstract Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) represents one of the biggest modern innovations in the construction field worldwide. Until now, on an international level, the number of constructions using SCC as a main material is limited. Self-compacting concrete is a special type of concrete that is able to flow under its own weight, completely filling the formwork and consolidating without the need of vibration. Since its first development in Japan in 1980, SCC was widely accepted in Japan, Europe and USA due to its inherently distinct advantages. SCC provides better quality especially in the members improving durability of concrete and having reinforcement congestion or decreasing the permeability. In this presented post-graduate thesis, there is a complete report on mechanical properties and the major attributes of the fresh and hardened concrete, as well as on the methods of its production and the ingredients of the recycled materials. The primary research is to qualitatively and quantitatively explore the acceptability of destroyed concrete waste aggregate for the production of the SCC of high strength and desirable properties. It assesses experiments on various mixes of self-compacting concrete – one with the fresh coarse and fine aggregates, while the others with replacement of 15%, 30 %, 40% and 50% recycled coarse aggregates. Results in the experiments showed that the fresh, hardened and durability properties of all the concrete mixes were comparable.
