A non-experimental, cross-sectional, retrospective correlational case study was conducted and episodes of attempted suicide were analyzed in relation to the date of release from prison. Were identifi ed 39 episodes in men and 22 in women between 14 to 18 years old, whit an average age of 15.94 (SD = 1.17). e results show that the pre release stage increases the risk of suicide attempt among young people imprisioned by 1.7 (0.9 - 3.0) times and women have 34 times more than men (17.5-68.2) suicide risk in this condition.","PeriodicalId":33677,"journal":{"name":"Revista Uruguaya de Enfermeria","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48675620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Natural therapies, such as honey, are considered healing, and the nurse is responsible for incorporating them in the management of the care of people with injuries. \u000022 patients with venous ulcers participated, from health centers of Padre las Casas, Chile, volunteers of the CORFO 13IDL2-2329 project, treated with a medical prototype of native honey, supplemented with antioxidants and certified antibacterial activity. Clinical and planimetric follow-up of the area and perimeter decrease, associated with the use of the prototype was carried out under a nursing care management protocol. The analysis of images was with the Software ImageJ®, whose data were subjected to non-parametric statistics with the Software IBMSPSS-21.0.The area and perimeter reduction were statistically significant for type 3 and 4 ulcers, with a median area reduction of 95.41% and 84.40% for perimeter,both between the second and third measurements contrast. It also highlighted the median number of days of healing in type 4 ulcers with 124 days. \u0000It was concluded thatthe application of clinical honey and a nursing care management protocol, based on a multifactorial treatment and a uniform cure criterion, demonstrated reduction of the areas and perimeters of healing, with emphasis on debridement.","PeriodicalId":33677,"journal":{"name":"Revista Uruguaya de Enfermeria","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41590513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: qualitative study based on the post-structualist approach with seven caretakers of patients linked to a Primary Health Care unit with Family Health Strategy in a city from the south of Brazil, developed in the month of May 2017. Data production happened from developing open interviews, photographic record made by the participants with reflections from the captured images and field notes. Data were organized with the software Etnograph and, after reading the material with questions to direct problematization, the text was coded with foucaultian tools such as subjectivity, experience and the care of the self to construct the analysis. Results: the categories were: \"subjectivation of the family caretaker in face of their experiences\" and \"practices of the care of the self for the family caretaker\". Discussion: the caregiver becomes constituted when the experience of caring for the other begins. It acquires new roles and loses others, and may or may not have overload and deprivation. Among the practices of oneself that can direct the constitution of the caretaker from the self of the care, are the relations with family, friends and professionals, and cultivation of plants, walks, readings. Final consideration: to know the constitution of the being a caretaker and his practices of the self, can assist on potencializing such practices among caretakers in a way of minimizing the overload.","PeriodicalId":33677,"journal":{"name":"Revista Uruguaya de Enfermeria","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47652592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The project is presented in the context of the Mental Healthcare System of the national integrated health system (SNIS) reform that has been taking place in Uruguay from the Law No. 19.529 of Mental Health (2017) to think about the practices regarding the Mental Healthcare Community Model. This implies giving visibility to the material conditions of existence in people’s daily lives, to individual and collective well-being, to work, housing, education, culture, leisure and enjoyment time, among others. The transition from an asylum model to a model that privileges the community approach, must fi rst consider a change in the public mental health policy that contemplates diff erent actors, including users, their relatives, health workers and the community in general. The reintegration into the social fabric of hospitalized people is central when it comes to thinking about a sustainable discharge, and that is why making social inclusion eff ective will imply changes in the sanitarian practices, in health resources, which allow family and community support, so that those in psychological suff ering can fi nd opportunities to develop their lives outside the psychiatric hospital, being respected in their rights","PeriodicalId":33677,"journal":{"name":"Revista Uruguaya de Enfermeria","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43637716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data collection was carried out in October 2016. Based on the Herzberg theory of the needs (1), which suggests that the real satisfaction of man with his work comes from the fact of enriching his position so that in this way he can develop a greater responsibility and in turn experience a mental growth and psychological, the present investigation was elaborated; taking into account that, as workers, nurses are constantly exposed to various factors that threaten their health and against the mentioned growth and development. For which, through the use of the Font-Roja questionnaire (2) plus the addition of sociodemographic and labor variables, the sociodemographic and labor characteristics of the nurses of the service are described, their degree of satisfaction is determined and the work satisfaction is related with the sociodemographic and labor variables of these. As a result, it was observed that this population shares similar characteristics with the population of nurses in the rest of the country; that the sociodemographic and labor variables studied do not have a statistically signifi cant relationship with the degree of job satisfaction; and that the degree or level of satisfaction is moderately satisfactory, with an average of 82.15 (SD 7.31), on a scale ranging from 24 (minimum degree of satisfaction) to 120 (maximum degree of satisfaction).","PeriodicalId":33677,"journal":{"name":"Revista Uruguaya de Enfermeria","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48464806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
