The reVolution resulted a spectacular national economic growth as well as inequality between regions in China. Therefore, the Chinese Government, since the leadership of Jiang Zemin and continued by Hu Jintao, has been trying to improve the condition. This article will explain the strategies and policies of equitable development between regions in China during the reign of Jiang and Hu. By using descriptive qualitative methods, the data used are secondary data obtained from official publications of the Chinese government and supported by scientific articles that can be accessed through the internet. The results obtained indicate the seriousness of the Chinese Government under Jiang and Hu in revising national development priorities. The target of economic growth is lowered and no longer became a priority of development programs. Failure from a state to provide human rights protection for its citizen will lead to intervention from the international community to enforce human rights in the name of humanitarian norms. The humanitarian intervention will indirectly weaken the principles of Westphalian state sovereignty as the main premise in the politics of international relations. This article is a case study of the Libyan conflict in 2011. This study uses the constructivism approach to analyze the contrasting relation between the principles of traditional Westphalian sovereignty and humanitarian intervention concept, and how this relationship may shift the human rights norms in the international community. In the constructivism approach, it is not enough to offer a causal explanation in order to understand international politics. Instead, it needs a more interpretative understanding. His role which was felt to be insignificant in the world multilateral institutions or Bretton-Woods institutions made China initiate a new multilateral institution which was considered to have a bureaucracy that was easier than the Bretton-Woods institution. In addition, the financial condition of the World Bank which is considered inadequate for the Asian infrastructure development needs and the failure of America to host China so that the American allies want to join the AIIB make China more convinced by its decision to establish AIIB. AIIB initiated by President Xi Jinping and announced its establishment in 2014. In 2015, 57 founding countries officially signed the Article of Agreement (AOA) as the basis for the formation of the AIIB. In this study, the researcher will explain the motivations behind the formation of the AIIB. This research explained through a quantitative descriptive method so that the researcher will explain the purpose of establishing AIIB in detail. With economic and political liberalism, societies of Western Europe and North America “at the vanguard of civilization” considered have reached the endpoint of humankind’s ideological evolution hence Western liberal democracy has been perceived as the final form of human government. However, the current rising wave of right-wing populism along with the exercise of protectionist economic measures in the most developed democratic countries has shown that democracy has begun to malfunction. Depart from this point, this article aims to re-examine the relationship between free market and democracy, and analyses the real inequalities manifested in income and the ownership of the means of production, and the inequalities within capitals, and between capital and wage labor. Thailand become pioneer of monetary crisis in Asia. The value of the country's currency in Thailand fell due to the government decision in adopting managed-float exchange policy of Baht currency to the Dollar America. This led the government to take the decision for seeking a help from IMF in order to recover their economic stability. However, this attempt became more complicated as a consequence of IMF regulation. IMF could not provide a solution to recover economic crisis as some of the parties disagree with the financial support by providing loan for Asia countries. The inflation also was one of the reasons behind of IMF incapability to provide solutions tackling this issue. Therefore, this paper has the aim to investigate the role of IMF towards the inflation issue in Thailand in 1997-1998. The method used to collect data is to use Internet based research with data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive methods.
