Without realizing that overthinking will waste our time and energy, people who are always overthinking will find it difficult to take action. Therefore, this can cause a person to fall into anxiety or experience anxiety disorders. Factors from overthinking usually occur because of family problems, relevance, work, studies, and stress. The psychotherapy chosen by the researcher is tahajjud prayer therapy. The selection of the tahajjud prayer is based on the results of previous studies. Judging from the results of previous studies, researchers with knowledge of Islamic psychotherapy are looking for suitable treatment to overcome the problems raised, namely the habit of overthinking in adolescents. Overthinking is overthinking something. People who think too much are more likely to experience constant sadness and negative thoughts, so this also prevents individuals from getting along with themselves. So that researchers can provide solutions in the form of Islamic guidance and counseling through tahajjud prayer therapy. The research method in this study is a literature review sourced from related books and journals.","PeriodicalId":334570,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of International Conference on Da'wa and Communication","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125996440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prank content had gone viral after drawing a lot of criticism and protests because it contained useless substances and actually caused harm. Creative ideas are needed to modify useless content into useful content that is still interesting and entertaining. This study describes qualitatively descriptive from the data obtained from virtual observations on prank content and prank shalawat on Gus Aldi's Youtube channel which inspires millennial da'i-da'i in conveying da'wa messages through Youtube. The presence of hoaxes causes information consumers to find it difficult to distinguish between true or false information, especially those that spread on social media. The main problem in this research is how hoaxes can threaten religious moderation in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how hoax information on social media threatens the moderation of Islam in Indonesia. This research uses the library research method. The data were obtained from relevant library data sources and analyzed using a qualitative approach. The findings show that many hoaxes are conveyed along with religious and political information. Hoax on the political aspect aims to bring down political opponents or the government. In the religious aspect, hoaxes are used to attack opposing religious beliefs or schools. Hoaxes on these two aspects, especially religion, have the potential to divide people and destroy religious moderation in society. This research is expected to contribute to the study of communication, especially media and information.","PeriodicalId":334570,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of International Conference on Da'wa and Communication","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114237570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study describes the content of the Friday sermons selected by the preachers in Jayapura City. The research method used is a qualitative method by recording Friday sermons from several types of mosques, namely the Great Ash Shalihin Mosque in Jayapura City, the Baiturrahim Mosque, Kotaraja, Skyland Complex, and the IAIN Fathul Muluku Jayapura Campus Mosque. This study found that the procedure for selecting khatibs in Jayapura City was coordinated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs except for Heram and Muara Tami Districts. Therefore, content is easier to coordinate. In general, preachers in Jayapura City prefer themes around issues of faith, jurisprudence, and morals. Besides that, the preacher also often chooses content related to events that are currently viral. Meanwhile, content related to religious moderation, including local wisdom, is still very minimal. Khatib tends to choose a religious theme or context that is safe from controversy because in Jayapura the majority is Christian. In addition, the preachers' and community's literacy is still lacking towards moderation material on religion and local wisdom. The control efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Religion over the implementation of the Friday sermon schedule in Jayapura City need to be increased by capturing all mosques. There needs to be a mapping related to the distribution of preachers, da'wah themes, the religious characteristics of community groups as objects of da'wah so that the preaching delivered does not impress provocative da'wah just because it differs in religious understanding.","PeriodicalId":334570,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of International Conference on Da'wa and Communication","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121913099","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was also conducted to determine the school's response in harmonizing religious understanding. This study aims to answer the following questions: (1) How is the religious understanding of Madrasah Aliyah students obtained through online media? and (2) How do the schools respond and harmonize the religious understanding of students who interact with online religious sites? Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documents study, by targeting Madrasah Aliyah students, teachers, religious leaders, academics, and community leaders. The results showed that MA students use online media as sources of learning materials and religious content with the duration of accessing online media reaching 4 to 10 hours per day. It has influenced the understanding, attitudes, and religious practices of MA students. The understanding and practice of \"exclusive\" religion have become widespread, among students no longer celebrating the Prophet's birthday (mawlid), barzanji, tahlil, prohibiting to wish someone Merry Christmas, forbidding music, forbidding to take self pictures, and considering the traditions of the Gorontalo people which aren't following Islamic values as heretical and forbidden. As a response to dealing with the problems above, the school tries to align students' religious understanding by strengthening religious moderation for teachers and students, building communication with students in social media, and providing mentors for students. This study recommends: (1) the importance of strengthening the understanding of religious moderation to teachers and students, (2) encourage religious institutions such as NU and Muhammadiyah to use online media as a da'wah tool, and use language that easy to understand by the millennial generation.","PeriodicalId":334570,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of International Conference on Da'wa and Communication","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117005157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
