Since its start, the initiative was also linked to the Casa de Cultura Alemã - UFC. The National Plan for University Outreach affirms that outreach plays a fundamental role in the educational process, providing an opportunity for \"the democratization of knowledge, the effective participation of the community in the university's activities, and a production resulting from the confrontation with reality\" (FORPROEX, 2001, p. 2). As part of the scientific dissemination and university extension, the didactic collection attracts a diversified public, as well as promoting partnerships with municipality schools. Through the extension project \"Tools for scientific dissemination in ichthyology and conservation of the Tocantins-Araguaia River basin\", scientific exhibitions of the didactic collection were held at the CPN, in schools and in public places in the municipality, aiming to present the diversity of the ichthyofauna and other vertebrates. The project resulted in the participation of several students and the general public, totaling about 650 people. TCHOMBOSSI","doi":"10.5212/rev.conexao.v.19.22133.030","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5212/rev.conexao.v.19.22133.030","url":null,"abstract":"This article is the result of one of the extension activities of the project Construção de Metodologias Integradoras para a formação e atuação de professores em Angola e no Brasil, linked to the International Network of University Extension (RIEU), and aims to contribute to the expansion of theoretical and methodological knowledge of teachers and students about literacy, especially about the consolidation process of learning the properties of the alphabetic-orthographic writing system and the conventions that govern its uses. The activity followed a workshop methodology, based on the theoretical-practical relationship, following an interactive dynamic and constituting a space for observation and problematization of reality. In this way, the research raised the perception of the population of Bauru and region about the measures to prevent and combat Covid-19 adopted by public authorities (federal, state and local). Bibliographic analysis on the subject, as well as a survey of public opinion applied through a questionnaire made available on Google Forms. e study was carried out in the first half of 2021, and it was possible to verify that most participants were dissatisfied with the containment measures by Brazilian public authorities in relation to Covid-19. In this context, the University of Creative Age, an extension project aimed at the elderly, migrated its activities to the digital world, intensifying the use of its page on the social network Instagram. is article aimed to analyze the engagement of the Instagram page of the University of Creative Age. For that, the metrics of the Insights tool were described and analyzed. e results revealed a growth in engagement and that feed posts were the ones that had the most reach. e posts in stories were the ones with the lowest performance and engagement. It was noted that the elderly audience is not the one who most interacts with the page. It is considered that the planning of actions on Creative Age’s Instagram promote stimuli for the engagement of the elderly public.
