Research questions were answered while null hypotheses formulated were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted a correlational research design and was carried out in North Central States of Nigeria. The population for the study was 301 employees in electrical industries. The entire employees were involved in the study. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire titled Emotional Intelligence, Occupational Stress and Productivity Questionnaire (EIOSPQ). Five experts face- validated the instrument. The internal consistency of the questionnaire items was determined using Cronbach alpha reliability method and coefficients of 0.88 was obtained for Electrical Occupational Stress, 0.94 for Productivity of workers in electrical occupation, 0.85 for Emotional intelligence of employees. The overall reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.96. Out of 301 copies of EIOSPQ administered, 295 copies were completed representing 98.01 percent return rate. Pearson product moment correlation and regression analysis were employed to analyse data for answering research questions and hypotheses. The findings on hypotheses revealed that: EI significantly predicts productivity of employees in electrical industries, EI does not significantly predicts occupational stress of employees in electrical industries, emotional intelligence was a significant moderator of the relationship between occupational stress and productivity of employees in electrical industries, demographic variables were not significantly influenced emotional intelligence and productivity of employees in electrical industries. It was recommended that employees in electrical industries should be sensitized through workshops and seminars on how EI can influence their productivity and occupational stress in their occupations.","PeriodicalId":33319,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Counseling and Education","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42291085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The many models of early childhood learning during this pandemic need to be studied further which are appropriate for implementation. This study aims to empirically verify the early childhood learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic and analyze the factors that influence early childhood learning during the Covid-19 period. The method used in writing this article is a systematic literature review, which is a literature search from national article sources conducted using indexed searches on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic. This literature review was conducted using the prism method technique. The articles reviewed are the most recent 50 articles from 2020 to 2021, and the results were sorted into 26 articles. All articles are classified by year of publication, type of indexing journal, method, and early childhood learning model. The results of the study are presented as follows. (1) The search results prove an increase in the number of articles published from 2020-2021. (2) The results of the study show that the most widely used learning model in early childhood learning involves the participation and assistance of parents in children's learning at home through learning media created by teachers and distributed through social media. (3) The obstacles that can be identified are: (a) the role of parents in children's learning during the pandemic is still less than optimal, (b) the lack of mastery of technology skills of students and parents during online learning. So it is necessary to develop an early childhood learning model that can be applied in online implementation, able to facilitate collaboration between parents, teachers, and students.","PeriodicalId":33319,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Counseling and Education","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47732147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, academic resilience is needed so that students can face existing academic problems. It was found that self-compassion can foster resilience. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-compassion using the Indonesian version of the Self-Compassion Scale and Academic Resilience using the Academic Resilience Scale-30. 277 participants from 12th grade high school students who are distance learning took part in this correlational research. Results show that there is a positive correlation between self-compassion and academic resilience. This therefore results in a new finding of how students could be more academically resilient in facing academic burdens during the pandemic. To get a more comprehensive picture, future studies could explore more demographic data, such as whether anyone assists students while distance learning and how stressed students are.","PeriodicalId":33319,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Counseling and Education","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48764571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Awareness involves prevention of mental problems, identifying mental problems, and self-managing in any possibilities of mental distuption. A way to maintain mental health awareness is to obtain knowledge or information related to disorders, management, and prevention of mental health problems through literacy. Meanwhile, Lack of mental health literacy have been identified as major obstacles for the promotion of mental health and early intervention during this pandemic era. This study aims to develop a measuring instrument by testing the validity and reliability of mental health awareness through literacy during the COVID-19 pandemic towards college students using the Rasch Model approach. The subjects of this study were male and female, college students aged 18 – 25 years and Indonesian citizens. This research was conducted on 307 subjects. The results of the research showed that the mental health awareness scale using Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire is a reliable and valid measuring instrument (α = 0.844) during the COVID-19 pandemic by using the Rasch Model approach and compared to the classical theory of mental health awareness. There are 21 valid items and 8removed items with no any dimensions are eliminated.","PeriodicalId":33319,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Counseling and Education","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45439171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
